I was hesitating but finally made up my mind to disconnect rear sway bar of my 3rd generation foz after watching your video, after several days’ driving I’m totally agree with you: the handling difference is there but minimal enough to ignore in daily driving. I don’t do off roading but the removal also results a smoother ride on rough surfaces, I now feel more confident and comfortable driving through the same gravel road to work. Thank you for doing this vid and looking forward to your next!

Does it make the ride any smoother in terms of absorbing bumps and getting less shaken around on bumpy surfaces?

Interesting video, been wondering about this, my Bronco didn't even have a rear sway bar and my 4Runner does as well as the Subaru, but was wondering if it was a critical part, seems like not so much.

This vid came just in time. I've been mulling this over after installing my 2" raceland lift last weekend. Thinking about doing the front too, since I ripped the boot in the front passenger end link.

Let me know how the handling is! The front end being disconnected you’re definitely gonna feel a difference in ha doing and body roll. I felt it in my lifted tacoma when I removed it. But I’m curious your thoughts on it once you do it!

@@WEEKENDWNDR3RS So I removed both sway bars this past weekend. Drove around 100 miles so far. Bumps feel more cushy. There is a top heavy feeling in sudden maneuvers and sharp corners but nothing overly radical. I suddenly have audible rubbing from my 235 65 17s on the front whereas before I did not, even at stock height. Oddly enough the drivetrain shudder from having the lift has decreased quite a bit which is a nice surprise. I have an ADF anti wobble insert on the way that I'll probably try to install this weekend. Hopefully that'll cure all shudder.

@@tristancefail Yup. Just did 1200 miles over the last few days and it was a nice comfortable ride.
