Chisgule, you should do a end game f2p guide for what should a f2p player focus once almost every epic is expertise... And you could make a guide for tech for new players, some friends that started now always ask me what to focus.

I am watching the playlist as I am currently making a new jumper as I am looking to get back into the game. Picked China for Sun Tzu. 8 hours in and I just got Boudica and Joan of Arc from free gold keys, I am so hyped! These three are also my only epic commanders right now as I still don't have any legendaries! What are the chances of that!? Omg.

If you are new to the game just go with France - Joan of Ark. It's the safest bet. You can change your civilization later. And Joan is useful, be it a F2P or whale spender. You may want to save your universal epic sculptures for some other commander. Boudica is another great option. As a beginner on the latest server, you will be able to level up faster than other governors. She is an allrounder who gives you buffs debuffs heal and bonuses. Scipio is not as useful, and his usefulness will decline as you get better leadership commanders down the line.

Hey Chisgule, I saw that your Minamoto is mostly cav focused and in the skill tree you only went for rejuvenate. Does that build apply to Pelagius as well or should i keep being mostly skill focused? I use Cao 5/2/2/3 as the 2ndary and i might use Baibars when i expertise him.

This game is not worth F2P. I played it when it was before launch and got to 1.5M power. I think I was in like the first 12 Kingdoms numerically. Started a week late. There were already people in the 20M when I quit. 1.5M then was like the bare min to join the top build in my kingdom at the time. I played almost 10 hours a day, set alarms for queues, and basically did all that I can to keep up.
The toll it takes on you to play this game is ridiculous. It's basically wallet wars. If you enjoy beating someone with your wallet, I guess it's fun, but if not, then you're just food for the pay to win players.

Hi Chisgule , want to ask u about the garrison commander u mentioned . So is Hermann + Sun Tzu a great garrison pair for a f2p player ? I am currently using that pair .

Thanks for the insight.... of course - too late for me; I’ve already done everything wrong. I should have watched vids BEFORE playing. However, no that I AM researching, most (if not all) TH-camrs speak to beginners without explaining what their meaning, i.e. You speak about maxing out before leveling up, but you don’t specify what that actually means.
I realize that existing players might understand how to differentiate between those, but a novice player wouldn’t.
Still a good video. But it’d be nice if what you mean to say was explained once or demonstrated.

Can i level up commanders with out maxing there skills?im at a halt and cant go further and just don't know what to do.
Because your at max level you need starlight sculptures to level them up

So just a suggestion, make a video teaching how does work the skills level up, I heard you saying to maximize the first skill first, I was trying doing that but then I didn’t know exactly how, I didn’t know I should not put stars on them, so even Knowing I F** up some of my commanders, haha
There is no much content about mechanisms of this game work in the basic way.

I am currently investing on Edward of Woodstock and Genghis Khan I have 9.6M power lvl 23 city hall and 5 expertised epic commanders which are Sun Tzu, Hermann, Osman I, Belisarius and Baibars and I am currently grinding for Joan of Arc, I am F2P
hey new to this game building up to comanders level 12. I did it all wrong clicking on talents I had no idea about. Is this guide still good in 2022? Liked and subscribed thanks.
Some parts they are. Same not so much.
When it comes to Gathering commanders:
Now that you can lock skills. I would say get all primary gathering commanders up to level 37 so you can unlock that whole commander talent tree. And lock their skill so you are only leveling up the first and the second skill.
Gariion & Open Field:
I am in the Top 5 alliances every time I start a new account. When you are that high your focus is KvK. There is no hitting player. unless a whale goes rogue, or you are zeroing someone for breaking the rules there are no city hits. Open field mainly happens in KvK. Now I have never been in the wild west of the game ( low lvl alliance) what chisgule is saying here would be important down there.
I totally messed up because I had no clue that I had to plan. I went on upgrading my city hall but doing random commander upgrades. Can you help me fix it?
centurion - gathering - max out gathering superior and more the better -
constance sarka gaius
beating barbarian
lohar - max - dont use universal sculptures
lohar and boudica - bonus experience

Aetherflaed is one of the best commanders for F2P/low spenders because she is very versatile and you can max her out pretty easily for free.
I'm curious, I'm planning on changing my civilization, which one is best for a low to none spender ??

Also I have marchel ( just in case I'm wrong with his name: the legendary with the gold hammer) is he better than the commanders you mentioned?
At the start of the game minamoto has very high damage compared to other options available to you. After on that will change. Martel is a garrison commander, good for defending and open field

As a f2p player, should I use Sun Tzu as a garrison or a rage engine?! In one of your other f2p guides you say to use Sun Tzu as a rage engine and not invest in garrison, so I am confused!

Tbh I recommend every civilization in the game that has an infantry commander or infantry special unit because think about it most whales are runnin Cav a lot of beginners are gonna see that there local whale has this hulking fast bruiser Cav army and there going to make the mistake of trying to do the same thing but most of those new players don’t have the money so while they’re battling you with a failed imitation you’re out there hustlin with a legitimate counter
Hello! In ur opinion, if I use GK as main commander AND I main cavalry...should I be Ottoman or Spain? (I have over 160% cavs atack)

If you were spending gems on legendary heads in VIP, this is WAY better. I think wheel events are better value overall though for gem spending.

If he’s your primary garrison commander, yes use garrison.

Question! Is there a way to overthrow or change the alliance leader in an alliance? Have some things going on right now and need our flags to be moved but only our alliance leader can do it and he's not too active or responsive to our mail right now 🤦🏼♂️
If he is inactive 7 days the leader changes

htk vais I don’t think talents matter on secondary commanders. I know they don’t for open field and Probably for garrison as well
Only talents of the first commanders matters :/
