Absolute respect for the Japanese for keeping their environment clean, friendly and safe for everyone and having plants and trees literally everywhere! In Libya they would complain that the trees take up parking spaces😂
33:54 The dog peed there, and the owner put some water on it. Amazing, the Japanese are super cool! You can`t expect this in any other place in the world. So, while the incident you described might seem like a small thing, it's actually a great illustration of Japan's unique cultural values in action!

The oddly-placed vending machines aren't actually so odd. Did you notice the first three are definitely by parking lots (one is a bike parking lot), and the other two are either near the entrance to lots or at least near apartment buildings? They get put in places where people are likely to think "I could use a drink, but I just got home and I don't want to run to the convenience store, so I'll shell out a little more money and buy it here." When I was on exchange over there in college, there was one on a random residential street just outside my dorm entrance. ...Because dorm entrance. ^_^b
The small shrine at about :30 seemed in disrepair although not abandoned completely. You did not linger nor did you leave an offering as you usually do. Do some of these shrines just become abandoned? Do new caretakers appear at some point? An interesting walk through "the suburbs" as we would call them. Water and wilderness where you least expect to see it.
You mean the shrine between 27:47 and about 30:00, right? That really is interesting... Google Maps says that's Zenpukuji Inari Shrine; the sign on the red torii gate and the fox statues by the main building support the assertion that it's a shrine to Inari. The building does seem to be a bit rundown, but the shimenawa (sacred rope over the door) is in pretty good shape, and the ones on the mini-shrines that flank the base of the stairs have been replaced even more recently, so yes, it's definitely not abandoned. One of the photos linked to that shrine on Google Maps is of a sign thanking people belonging to its religious association for donating to purchase new banners (which would have the shrine's name on them and be placed at or near the entrance) and poles to hold them; the sign is dated January 2021, so the shrine was definitely active at that point. That said, although it obviously hasn't been closed to the general public, none of the things that would signal an active shrine (bell to ring before worshipping, open door, collection box for offerings) are there, and no offerings have been left on the shelf/step that is there, so it's possible that any offering the channel owner made would have been considered littering.
One of the coolest things about Tokyo is that you expect it to be a noisy sprawling metropolis of pollution, tall buildings, and wall-to-wall people. Although there are places with skyscrapers and a sea of humans, you'd be shocked at finding these quiet residential areas just minutes from some of the major train stations. You would never know you're in the world's biggest city.

Did that kid at 44:55 crash his bike off screen?
did you change the coloring to make it more vibrant color ?
