I'm not going to pretend I know the language, but first of all it's a whole other alphabet system, plus many letters mean different things in different contexts. But only speaking small talk is easier to learn since you have multiple programs where you can listen to the words and read them translated into our letters. Like "Hello-Konnichiwa".
The culture, Mount Fuji, the cherry blossoms, and the cities make Japan an amazing place.
