The movie has thousands of meanings. Monica 'bought'and 'accepted' because she felt lonely. This robot David, which love will last forever, loved monica as much as a humancreature can love another. Yet monica 'forgot' david and saw him as a dangerous toy. A machine who loved his mummy deeply and chased down his own dreams to be loved. i wonder who is the real mecha and who is the orga?
This movie was very good for me, it was sooooo sad. I think it's just the idea behind it was too much for a lot of people to wrap their minds around it to accept it and make it plausible in their minds. That's probably why a lot of people weren't able to enjoy it.
I mean you have to read the book to understand the movie. There is a lot more going on that they dont explain in the movie. Like how wicked the musical leaves out a lot vs the book
