my ten year old mind couldn't take the epicness this theme generation when this played VS my fav boss, Taurus Fire. it was as if the game itself said " He wants Revenge.".
Love this boss theme.the most. Not only the music was great, but it also plays againts ALL the bosses I love fighting in the series, except one. I always loved fighting Harp Note, Dark Phantom, Terra Condor,Gemini Spark Kung Fu Kid, Hollow and General Auriga. Only Wolf Woods is left out of this awesome theme.
Even though imo 2 is unambiguously the worst out of the three plot and annoyance-wise (too much backtracking and repeated areas, incredibly annoying "puzzles", no unique Dungeons/Servers/Systems instead being all on the Wave Road, etc.) I really can't deny that the music of this game was by far the best. The Boss, Sky Wave, and "Dungeon" themes were incredible, and the gameplay was incredible, probably tied with 3 for being the best. The Bosses were all really fun too, with Plesio Surf and Terra Condor being standouts for just being very fun and unique fights. Just a shame that the plot and terrible writing held it back. Like really, they reset all the development characters got last game to try and shoehorn some in this game, which evidently didn't work as 3 used the first game's characterization instead.
At least they got their act back together in 3 plot-wise, but I will always prefer 2's soundtrack overall (particularly Echo Ridge and this boss theme). 3 also had its fair share of good tracks, with the Crimson Dragon's theme and Satella Police themes coming to mind.

Starforce was indeed a gd series,1 has good storyline that I like a lot,2 has epic track themes and my favourite tribe,Zerker and Tribe king and 3 has awesome bosses like Acid Ace, finalize Black Ace and my favourite card,the swordfighter series.

I got the game for $6 at a gaming flea market. It's quite a good game, contrary to popular belief, especially the battle system, back in a time when Pokemon still used sprites.
