    Thanks for the in-depth video! I’m looking at these now for my Tundra and was wondering if you got 2.5” height for both front and back. Thanks man.

    I have the 3.5 ironman on my 2018 tundra and so far I am happy with it, ride is smooth, took most of the lean out from cornering. I wish i could have got the green springs on my kit but it was only offered in black. Oh well. Thanks for sharing! Be safe and be blessed!

      Thanks man, you too! And totally agree, I’m 💯 satisfied with the ride quality and extension. Performed extremely well when I took it up the local mountain to one of my favorite spots!

    Great video and very educated! I have question about for this 2.5inch lifted in the rear, does it need brake line extension? I have same trim but 2023 year. Thank you😊

      Thank you! No extension kit needed for the brake lines, all good there even at full extension. Hope that helps!

    Surprised you had to loosen the lower control arm bolts to get the strut out.

    Does it also give you a lift ? Or just better overall ride quality for off roading ?

    • @NitroZ18Fishing
      @NitroZ18Fishing  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes sir, 2.5” lift depending on what options ya go with. That’s what I’m running but you can select other options as well. Highly recommend it!

    Stuck between these and dobbinsons. Did you switch to trd silver axles on 2.5 lift?

    • @NitroZ18Fishing
      @NitroZ18Fishing  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No sir, I didn’t have to swap axles with the TRD Pro. Ride is smooth on and off road! I’ve had it on countless trips now, no issues at all, thanks for watching!

    In regards to the rear coil springs, is it required to use the old or OEM insulator to the new springs? also what is the front and rear height after the new suspension install? Thank you!

    • @NitroZ18Fishing
      @NitroZ18Fishing  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Lou! Ironman recommends using the OEM piece with the new springs, not sure I can say it’s absolutely required but I would definitely swap it over.
      As far as height, that’s one thing I forgot to show in the video 🤦‍♂️. From center of hub to bottom of fender flare is as follows…
      Front- 23 1/2
      Rear- 24 1/2
      Just keep in mind your results may vary due to all the weight I have on my setup, and what options ya choose to go with (there are different weight rated front and rear springs). If I didn’t have all that weight I would be sitting even higher, but it’s very impressive how the rear springs especially are handling the added accessories!

      @@NitroZ18Fishing Thank you for your prompt response... I have my TRD pro rear coil springs replaced with 2 in. Dobinsons and I have to replaced the rear brake lines and add a Bolt on Trackbar Correction kit from Dr KDSS to balance and prevent the brake line strain.

      No prob, happy to help! I looked at their BOTCK kit, but haven’t noticed a need for it yet with my setup. Gonna keep an eye on my lines but I’ve had the suspension basically fully extended already and they looked ok, thankfully. Only other thing I am gonna do is get cradles for my bags

    Looks good. I've been checking on this set but the black springs are still not available. What makes you choose Ironman over dobinsons?

      Thank you! After doing a ton of research, I love the idea of the Foam Cell interior components and the lower maintenance required in the long run. There’s an excellent video on TH-cam from another channel that explains the differences and advantages extremely well, if I can find it I’ll link it here for ya, but he does a great job of explaining in detail the science behind the “foam cell” interior components. And I have to say, I’ve already had it up in the mountains at one of my favorite spots, and it handles like a dream! Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

      @@NitroZ18Fishing Nice! Did you have any issues with alignment? I'm reading that anything more than 2 inches of lift will need upper control arms.

    • @NitroZ18Fishing
      @NitroZ18Fishing  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      None at all, my local shop actually said it aligned perfectly. They had me in and out in less than an hour. I consider new UCA’s but glad I didn’t worry about it!

    To use.

      Stay tuned! I’ve already had it up the mountain at one of my favorite spots, handles like a dream. The articulation is definitely improved, I’ll do a follow up after a few more trips out, but so far I’m super impressed! Thanks for watching!

      @@NitroZ18Fishing is that because the TRD Pro perhaps already has longer brake lines than a regular Tundra? Likely going to pull the trigger on this setup and have a Limited TRD-Off Road
