Been to Dickerson park Zoo a few times. It's nice. I love Fantasy Caverns. Wanna go back. We are known as the Cave State.

Springfield has many colleges. Always something going on it seems like. In warmer weather. Lots of street fair events. We also have a great library system. The library station has a aviation theme. A!so the town is full of parks. Great park system. One has a cave that can be access by boat and part by walking. Sure there is a lot of homeless around down town. That seems common around the USA anymore.

Love Springfield! Was a Cali girl and I have now lived here for 30 years and by the way I have never had my car stolen nor has my husband or any of our children😂

I have lived in many areas of the country for extended periods of time. Long enough to understand the peoples and cultures of each. The Springfield region is easily the most culturally sterile area in which I've lived. They are getting better, but it's a work in progress.

what do you mean 'culturally sterile' ? Is it predominantly white ? yes. Just like much of St. Louis is Black. It's not Springfield's fault that it is 'culturally sterile', as you say. If you want your forced cultural diversity, go live in a big libtard city. Springfield area has a vibrant cultural scene for a regional pop. closing in on 500k.

If you're lucky enough not to have your car stolen while you're going to these events then I think you will find each of them fairly mediocre

Very interesting POV, thanks for sharing. Which city/location would you like us to cover next?

yes, stay away from SF. We have nothing to apologize for. It is unpretentious and doesn;t have to puff out it's chest and say "look at us !" It's the "bell curve +" region - above avg. in many categories, but not magnificent in any category.

If that's the best SF can offer, it is very very sad. I see you left off the precious derelict downtown homeless "square".

Best thing to do when you get to Springfield, MO. Is to get out of there as quickly as possible. That place is a glorified rat trap. Butt ugly too.
