the only part i don't understand about herb mulching is how do you profit when the AH takes such a large cut? luredrop at an average of 56.42g/per (using older numbers) x 5 = 282.10. r3 sells at 314.34g. 3500 luredrop = 197k. at that sale price of 314.34g (which is a 32g gap), you take home 209k, a profit of 11.5k after the AH takes 11k themselves. that doesnt count all the time it takes to much them (like you pointed out)
If I'm understanding what you saying, you didn't take the ah cut from the r2 selling price off? Like if you sell them as rank 2 you don't get the max amount, the AH cut part is only really relevant if you are buying them off the AH then doing it. If I use 52g and 160g examples its 4g difference, you sell something for 160g on AH and you get 152g back. So you're thinking you've lost 4g in this scenario? Because its 52*3=156g vs 152g. But because you didn't buy the herbs, if they're selling at 52g you only get 49.40 after AH cut, so its now 148.2g vs 152g. Is that what you meant?

Thaumings enough in itself man for one character. You could set up a concentration Enchanter as the other I guess, thats something you don't need to shuffle for. Kaychak has guides on it, I get 8-20k every 4 days from that, just 2mins of crafting. You could put prospecting on the same character I guess, so you can prospect the ore you get, but that does need a full build so might be a bit more of a grind.
Thanks for the video. Can you add Iron Claw in the Prospecting section? Like Thauma sheet, the more options the better ^^ + It would be great if you make an Tailoring unraveling setup video
I don't have a JC setup for Ironclaw yet that's why I haven't done it, I will when I do though. I haven't touched Tailoring this expansion, so I haven't got any experience to be able to do that sorry.
Level up your classic alchemy just a bit and you can craft a philosophers stone and keep it in your bags. That one will work and takes two minutes and a couple gold to get.
hey man, i was wondering how could u get so many knowledge points for alchemy, im doing weeklys and patrons but i still have a long way for blasphemite
New to the prof scene, I see you are afk crafting as a big part of this. You comment saying you have to do something every 2 minutes - can you educate me on what you have to do every 2 minutes that I may have missed? Love this video tysm
You don't have to anymore thank to www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/mass-salvage-assist, it was press the Thaumaturgy button you could only do 1000 at a time, but with this addon you can do the total amount you have to can fully afk
Hi, Great vid, am working up to completing the build as we speak. Spreadsheet is awsome but could i ask please, what exactly does Leather, Cloth and Dust relate to? As in the item names.
To make profit doing r1-r1 i need all transmutagen fully max? or by this time is already unprofitable because of the price being so low. i guess i will wait till i'm fully max doing r1-r2
If you have the max amount of resourcefulness possible, type the numbers into the first sheet and see. I think full thauma tree minus transmute and 10/50 alchemical mastery is all you need for r1-r1 extra 40 points in mastery don't matter for that
With not full specialization it didnt work for me. Bought the blue crafting tools and the t3 vial. Gave it a try.. spent 26k. Selling the stuff turned out to be 20,6k income. Net loss ~6k.
Know how excel works? Just check the cell that last gph box is refering too, you'll have to change the color back to white from black, but the pre ah cut number is there.
I think unless you are a race that gives +skill with alchemy, transmuting transmutagens or rank 1 mats never yields rank 2 materials, right? Even if I max my tools looks like my blood-elf would be 2 skill points short.
whats the numbers in the red box say under chitin, then the numbers in the boz next to the red one ? thanks for the vids mate appreciated . fucked my my first alc so be a while b4 i get a build like yours , might have to doa fresh alc XD
Can we get a video on posting for the AH? I post anything then it’s undercut like mad then doesn’t sell. Probably my region but I guess I just am not aware of
I was going to include that kinda in this video. But not in the undercut way, I actually post stuff higher than its currently selling most of the time, like if theres a couple hundred things and its a 10g difference between those stacks, I just post higher, one person can buy that all out in a second no point listing low, reagents always sell pretty quick. I actually do the opposite of most people and yeah I just post stuff higher. Like on Tempered Potions say they're at 100g, I'll just chuck mine up for 105g for 48 hours. And 8/10 they'll sell. I dont do that when I think prices are at peak though obviously that'd be a waste.
Hiii! awesome video :D thank you for this ^^ Can you perhaps make a video where you explain how to use your spreadsheet? Because for the love of God I don't understand it a bit :)) What are the numbers in gray mean? The yellow is the profit right? But why in the yellow boxes we have x1100? what is 1100? crafts? materials I need to buy? I am SOOOOOO LOST T.T
You can ignore it all except the yellow box and where you have to type in mats. And those numbers relate to the items you get back, just check what box b4, b15, b8 etc are, and thats what they relate to. If you press the thaum button once, for that material, thats the average of stuff you should get back.
Ty ❤, very helpfull, could you tell me how to perform more than 50 Transmutings per time i see videos where crafter can do all of thier stacks at one set, thank you in advance.
Quick question, After putting all the prices into the excel, how do you know to buy r1 of that material or rank 2? I see the r1 material section and r2section but its not clear which to choose for more profit after input.
how many knowledge points invested do you think is an absolute minimum to make a profit with this? really hard to catch up in KP in proffessions that require daily/weekly crafting orders for KPs so was wondering if its even worth doing without a max build (not looking for a million a day or anything, just that its profitable)
@@Eyancraft i did it i, just typing the new values and when im trying to click + enter in the yellow value it become 0 when i change values on the regeants the A or red value change but the yellow dont and turns 0 when i enter im typing with dots for example 11.38
You need full thaumaturgy tree including gleaming transmutagen, rare tools with resourcefulness, follow the spreadsheet and you should be ok. The potions are ambidexterity and quick hands, they're for craft speed.
yo dude great video one quick question, if my char is not a goblin and the skill level is 100/100 for the Thaumaturgy of the mercurial/red/green stuffs , i wouldnt be able to get it up to give me rank2 mats , its on rank 1 sadly , for that specific part only having another 5+ skill points would be better to have? cause like in the long run eventually r1 is gonna be cheaper than other ones , so i was just wondering if i should invest on the char i have rn or make a goblin and go with it
Goblin or KT is probably ideal, so if you want to make another toon it's not going to hurt. However maybe I'm dumb but I don't see a reason right now why R2 would be more expensive than R1 though really, they should be very similar prices for the rest of the expansion unless something changes imo. So I don't think its 100% necessary/impossible to make gold without it.
@@Eyancraft gotchu, yeah in the long run it would be amazing yeah , also one thing since KT is like +3 skill and goblin is +5 , would that still be possible to do it with KT ? since im on silvermoon Ally so i prefer to be make an Ally alt
Very upsetting that they changed alchemy. I was just getting major profits from this and it seems now that I'm losing money as of today doing Gloom Chitin & Mycobloom. If you are able to figure out the changes to the builds and make updated margins, that would be awesome.
Fantastic for concentration crafting, great with the shatter shuffle too, even decent at times with oils, I haven't tried mass producing enchants with it yet because the dumb game will never give me the Chest Enchant from Awakening the Machine, so can't speak on that aspect. I have it ready to go, so once I get that enchant I will be testing it.
Why does your profession pane sometimes show resourcefulness and sometimes it doesn't? I was going to get the resourcefulness tool but didn't even see that as a stat on my profession pane so I didn't get it.
Everything ive invested gold and knowledge points so far has gotten giga nerfed to where i ended up in the negative. Im new to the game what do you recommend for me to get into that i can afk craft like this? Im down to make a new toon for the racial but i need to know im not wasting my time/gold again lol.
I really think because of the way Thaumaturgy works, there is always going to be an arbitrage angle, and with new patches and maybe new materials it should be decent all expansion.
I’m a double gathering proff (herb and mining) currently I just gather while waiting for bgb to pop and sell what I gather every few hours, is it worth trading 5 of x herb at rank 1 to rank 2-3?
@@Eyancraft okay thank you! I started the professions last week after watching your guide and it’s helped quite a bit, I’m not a money making machine or anything but with just selling random herbs and rocks, plus doing some flipping on imperfect null stones I’m now up to 140k (was higher but I spent money on tmogs and a mount)
Will this still make profit with non-goblin/non-KT and transmute R2 > R2 mats but not enough KP that the mercurial/ominous/volatile transmutes are R1 results?
@@Eyancraft I made a copy and tweaked it a little bit so that the transmute cells would hit a R1 price. Can you recommend a more efficient way to get the ave price of the mats than just typing 1000 quantity in AH? I think them bait prices can make a huge difference. Thanks for all the help!
@@kyleg5036 I don't know a more efficient way no, auctionator can import and paste I used to have that setup, but because of bait prices you have to go through and readjust anyway so I stopped doing it. There are two thauma sheets you don't need to tweak anything the first one will do r1

Well, i did the complete opposite, went potions and flasks... I should'nt have done that, now i'm fucked... Is it worth to do thauma on an other character from scratch ?
Potions and Flasks are still good, but yeah I think it's worth setting up a Thaumaturgy character for sure and it'll obviously be quicker if you do that on a new one.
Yo Eyan, I'm confused. I've been doing this for a week or so now with a full build but just the past couple days I've actually been going negative. I've been following the chart. So I should be making gold but not sure what's going on. Any ideas?
Outside of prices going down while your doing it or putting in wrong values not really sorry. The sheet doesn't include resourcefulness either so it should be lower than real values. Is this EU I will have to test US later.
Chuck it into Calc and see for yourself, I was still getting 60-70k gph today. Thaum isn't effected by price drops quite as much, its more about how big of a gap there is between items. If everything was the same price it'd be no good.
Hey i recently started watching your vids and im following your blacksmithing build i was just wondering how i manage to craft the r1 materials into r2 alloys since im only at like 120 something skill
feel i should add that im not 100 skill into blacksmithing yet i know that would get me closer but i cant figure out how to get the last 20 points since i can get the everforged shit from armoursmithing
@@limitlesssage1094 i would be careful, a lot of people are doing it now and it just constant undercutting and mass auction post. I stopped doing it a week ago
@@Reaperherpderp ive already committed the acuity to it tho so im still gonna try to just send it with t1 mats and a everburning igniton you should still be making plenty profit i just need to hit the break and cant
@@limitlesssage1094u can craft the everburning forges all the way to max skill, just use them inbetween. Will say tho watch the market on the mats as it is easy to lose gold making alloys. Lost about 40k this week due to prices fluctuating so much. The rank 1 to rank 2 benchmark isnt really gonna benefit you to the point you think either when rank1/2 of nearly every material is nearly the same cost, and in most cases lately r2 costing even less since most people cant even craft r1 anymore due to reaching the breakpoint
During this vid on a downtime I was waiting for AH sales I crafted for 2 Everburning Forges because R3 Bismuth was so cheap, made 110k in that 20mins. Constantly inputting reagent prices into a spreadsheet helps a lot noticing shifts in the market though.
Yeah Goblin or Kul'Tiran, you don't need it though the gph difference isn't big, and it might even be lower in some cases, because R1 Ironclaw and Aqirite are in more demand than R2.
Why do you think you need to? In my mind you don't, if you sold the R2's straight up you'd have to pay AH cut on those anyway. Making them R3 doesn't change that, you're not buying them and converting where this would be relevant, you have them already. Like in that first example you're not getting the 42.70 that they're listed at, you're only going to get 40.57 each. So where do you get the 42.70 x 1.05 number from to get profit from doing this? If I'm wrong though I'd like explanation pls. Not trolling.
I have two videos that can possibly help, here is all the one time knowledge you can get - th-cam.com/video/07m48TcN6_I/w-d-xo.html And how to get some cheapish and easy acuity to buy the books - th-cam.com/video/_SVc6giN9jQ/w-d-xo.html
When I started I was still experimenting every ten mins for all of the potions/flasks if thats what you mean. You should be able to skip 40 points in Alchemical Mastery too and have it still be profitable for the R1->R1.
@@Eyancraft It seems with that old bug fixed a new way to exploit has poped up according to some comments i read elsewhere. Not sure what and how it is by now.
Started playing in week 4 of expansion on Eu, have never seen refining herbs to be profit 😂 well fck me I was wrong it is like 5g per herb profit - ah cut XD
Don't need to do it, not a big deal, and like I said at the end, it's going to be lower GPH. Just good if you want to extend your gold as far as possible. Ah cut is only really relevant if you're buying from AH mulching them to R3 then selling again. From Thaumaturgy it's basically straight profit just minus the tiny bit higher AH fee because you're making a tiny bit more.
Safety wise yeah definitely, and if you have the time to afk and sit like this, I guess possibly even, because with flasks to be making big gold you have to be crafting at the right times and selling at the right times, it's not a case of just going to the AH buying mats crafting and selling, and when selling you need to babysit cancel scanning them. But hypothetically if you knew how to make Gold at the same level on both I'd think Flasks would be way more profitable than Thauma.
@@Reaperherpderp I dont understand how flasks are profitable unless youre making R3 with R2 mats and using conc. I´m maxed in flasks and 108 points on Mastery and still cant make much profit in flasks/phials
Do you sim your profits including the Spillover buff? I haven't got to flasks yet, I will on my potion crafter eventually, but I know with Potions things will say they're not a profit but once you have full stack spillover buff up they are. And yeah Flask/Potion crafting is super competitive you have to be doing extra stuff to be making good gold with it, not just simply ah buying crafting then selling straight away generally.
@@Eyancraft got you. Thought it might've been something that you tested during your alchemy video (for the rank3 gilded vials) and realized it wasnt worth doing or something down that line.
@@davidhalvorsen4878 Nah I think it is worth doing, it's just not something you can spam cos it doesn't sell fast enough, if you did it for one hour you'd flood the market and crash it for sure. Stilll want a calc to be able to see just how worth it is though at times.
@@davidhalvorsen4878 Nah I'm a bit dumb, i've done more than enough to have a accurate calc, I just never thought to write down the stuff until recently.
yeah, its really fockt up. i spend the whole day yesterday setting up a char for an tailoring-enchanting-shuffle. didnt work at all. made like +10k per hour yesterday. today i made -8k per hour. cant count on anything and everything else will be more profitable.
@@TheNat11 On one hand regionwide AH rocks due to almost guaranteed sales, on the other hand you compete with the whole regions on resourcefulness and multicraft. You either have to invest really long hours to get a good average or you need to be a lucky mf if you only do it for an hour or two.
Thaumaturgy isn't really like that though, it's not like one single item is going to tank here, and if one goes up because everyone's buying it a different one will be profitable. It's an OP system.
As someone who does 5-6h of thaumaturgy a day you can make an add-on in game that takes the prices of all the materials and do all the calculations for you. None of this spreadsheet nonsense. All instant. All accurate. Also, you can use the crafting API to ensure your thaumaturgy never stops due to un-even stacks. But, to your point. 1M is possible. Currently. On the high end, you're making around 2-3g per material. Using the above methods mentioned, you can do ~55000 materials per hour. You're looking at around 8-10h per 1M. Assuming sales. Prior to the market crash, 4-5g per material was possible which was multiple M per day.
@@pedrohenriquebertelli8806 It's my own addon. I'm just saying it's easily possible to avoid all the spreadsheet stuff he is doing. Seems very tedious.

hey man, i was wondering how could u get so many knowledge points for alchemy, im doing weeklys and patrons but i still have a long way for blasphemite
This one might help maybe - th-cam.com/video/07m48TcN6_I/w-d-xo.html
But i've also been doing the weeklies/patrons since start of expansion.
The problem with thaum is the time, it takes so much time and on top of that if you are new you need atleast a few 100ks to make it even worth while.
Stormcharged Leather, Weavercloth, Storm Dust. Full words don't fit in a cell without extending.
@@Eyancraft Perfect thank you :)
How do I get 375 skill to do R2? Is it worth doing R1? My English is bad, maybe you said it in the video and I didn't understand, I'm sorry.
You have to be a Goblin or Kul'Tiran for R2. Type R1 stuff into the spreadsheet I posted in description it will tell you if it's profitable for you.
Hey, thnks for new info, but have question, where i can delete 5% ah, wanna look profit w/o ah cut

Yeah I think this is a pretty safe way to make some gold.
Is this still working after all prizes have tanked? Considering doing thid and ditching my mining proffession
I think unless you are a race that gives +skill with alchemy, transmuting transmutagens or rank 1 mats never yields rank 2 materials, right? Even if I max my tools looks like my blood-elf would be 2 skill points short.
Yep, but I don't think its absolutely necessary to make gold. I have a Rank 1 sheet too try that and see.
whats the numbers in the red box say under chitin, then the numbers in the boz next to the red one ? thanks for the vids mate appreciated . fucked my my first alc so be a while b4 i get a build like yours , might have to doa fresh alc XD
Ignore those ones thats just where I put calculations, don't want to touch.
Hiii! awesome video :D thank you for this ^^
Can you perhaps make a video where you explain how to use your spreadsheet? Because for the love of God I don't understand it a bit :))
What are the numbers in gray mean? The yellow is the profit right? But why in the yellow boxes we have x1100? what is 1100? crafts? materials I need to buy? I am SOOOOOO LOST T.T
+ "(0.45*B5)+(4.3*B4)+(3.25*B15)+(3.25*B8)+(3.25*B12)+(3*B7)" -> what are 0.45, 4.3, 3.25, 3 in this formula? [the formula near the chitin box]
No idea wish I knew, not having to click ever 2mins would be nice.
Quick question, After putting all the prices into the excel, how do you know to buy r1 of that material or rank 2? I see the r1 material section and r2section but its not clear which to choose for more profit after input.
Yeah I'm not the best excelist, I just did whatever one was cheaper, so if R2 was cheaper than R1 i'd put the R2 cost into the spot where I have R1's.
@@Eyancraft simple enough. Thanks for all the great content and your time to respond!
how many knowledge points invested do you think is an absolute minimum to make a profit with this? really hard to catch up in KP in proffessions that require daily/weekly crafting orders for KPs so was wondering if its even worth doing without a max build (not looking for a million a day or anything, just that its profitable)

Question, What stats should i get on my alchemy equipment?
Resourcefulness is what you want to have max off, every other stat is essentially useless for this.
good job now the gloom chittin price will go up
What potions do I need to drink? Ive got 50 KPs in Alchemical Mastery and 80 in Thaumaturgy. Can I follow your guides without having maxxed KPs?
You need full thaumaturgy tree including gleaming transmutagen, rare tools with resourcefulness, follow the spreadsheet and you should be ok.

yo dude great video
one quick question, if my char is not a goblin and the skill level is 100/100 for the Thaumaturgy of the mercurial/red/green stuffs , i wouldnt be able to get it up to give me rank2 mats , its on rank 1 sadly , for that specific part only having another 5+ skill points would be better to have? cause like in the long run eventually r1 is gonna be cheaper than other ones , so i was just wondering if i should invest on the char i have rn or make a goblin and go with it
Goblin or KT is probably ideal, so if you want to make another toon it's not going to hurt.

You can't R3->R3 even with a full build unfortunately :(
Why does your profession pane sometimes show resourcefulness and sometimes it doesn't? I was going to get the resourcefulness tool but didn't even see that as a stat on my profession pane so I didn't get it.
Nevermind, I see now that resourcefulness only shows up when you actually put in a material.

Will this still make profit with non-goblin/non-KT and transmute R2 > R2 mats but not enough KP that the mercurial/ominous/volatile transmutes are R1 results?

The rank 1 to rank 2 benchmark isnt really gonna benefit you to the point you think either when rank1/2 of nearly every material is nearly the same cost, and in most cases lately r2 costing even less since most people cant even craft r1 anymore due to reaching the breakpoint
During this vid on a downtime I was waiting for AH sales I crafted for 2 Everburning Forges because R3 Bismuth was so cheap, made 110k in that 20mins.

Like in that first example you're not getting the 42.70 that they're listed at, you're only going to get 40.57 each. So where do you get the 42.70 x 1.05 number from to get profit from doing this?

Don't need to do it, not a big deal, and like I said at the end, it's going to be lower GPH. Just good if you want to extend your gold as far as possible.
Ah cut is only really relevant if you're buying from AH mulching them to R3 then selling again. From Thaumaturgy it's basically straight profit just minus the tiny bit higher AH fee because you're making a tiny bit more.
it was way more worth for luredrop and arathors like 2 weeks ago when both were going for like 300-320g for r3 on reset day
u think Thaumaturgy is better than making flasks ?
potions/flask is likely more
Safety wise yeah definitely, and if you have the time to afk and sit like this, I guess possibly even, because with flasks to be making big gold you have to be crafting at the right times and selling at the right times, it's not a case of just going to the AH buying mats crafting and selling, and when selling you need to babysit cancel scanning them.
