God Bless and thank you all workers at Lake City, keep up the proud time honored work you do. It means the world to use who use it.
I'm glad they enjoy their job, that means I get quality ammo at the end of the day.
I've never had a problem with this ammo. We used to have 10 plants just like this until Clinton shut down all but one. Could you imagine how much ammo we would have if they were still in use
Love that I get ads for Michael Bloomberg before I watch a video about Lake City.
Mike Bloomberg - supporting Lake City quiet pills since 1941. Lol
To my friends at Lake City, Thank you for all you do I have never had any problems with your ammo. When I was in the service, or now with your older surplus 30-06.
Thank You Lake City! Believe it or not I've never had a failure to fire, either when I was in the Army or afterwards and Lake City ammo is all I use in my rifle. I appreciate all you guys do for me and those like me who choose to serve.
Thank you Lake City!I have used just about every caliber from 5.56mm to .50 cal in my 23 years of service.I especially love the M118 7.62mm Match Grade ammunition. It shoots consistently in the M21 and M24 Sniper rifles I have used.
Serving our country by serving our soldiers. Thank you for your patronage and for your ammo. I shoot it well and often. No complaints here. Again thank you.
Some of the world's best ammunition is made here... thank you everyone who makes this top notch ammo for our troops to protect us with.
Thanks to all of those serving and these suppliers!
I ♥ Lake City !
LOVE IT ALL!
during my time in the Marine Corps I have shot countless rounds of your product. Thank you for supplying me and my fellow Marines
Semper Fi
Every time a soldier in combat fires his rifle he has all you workers at this plant and others like it to thank, allthough
you are not on the battlefield your ammunition is,thank you for your excellence in the production of your ammunition
you are all patriots.
I've found some munitions with a "LC 43" stamp in hurtgenwald this year.
regards from germany.
God bless all the workers and the soldiers.
Great ammo! 5.56 AP love it!
A big thumbs up for Lake City!
"no junk comes outta here"
That's right, keep up the great work LC!!!
All I know is they make great ammo! I see now it takes good people to make it! Thank you!
As a Veteran, I'm thankful for the conviction of these wonderful women. I hope Lake City always hires Veterans, Families and Supporters of Veterans. I wouldn't want someone that thinks it is alright to take a knee during the National Anthem, making a product that Veterans count on to save their lives. I also believe that women can excel there. Some of the many strengths of women is attention to detail and the willingness to ask questions. A woman's value to the war effort should never be underestimated. I will buy Lake City Ammunition!
MIss, thank you for your conviction that no junk comes out of LC, and thank you for making the finest damn munitions ever devised
Making martyrs one round at a time. Keep up the good work @ Lake City......
Lake City is some good ammo.
Man such quality, I know those moderate beheaders in Iraq and Syria sure appreciate your work, thanks and may allah bless you 👍👍👍👍👍
Simply the best ammo in the world period !
Attention to detail and desire to put out a quality product is not a GENDERED ISSUE!
I used to be in the Marines; so of course I appreciate quality ammo and the people who make it.
Now that I’m out I use Lake City ammo in my AR for recreational shooting. I don’t want cheap ammo going through a $2000 rifle.
Man I'd love to have all the M855 rounds that this plant puts out in just 1 hour!
I have some Lake City ammo from the 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's and it all still works perfectly. I wish they sold more ammo to the general public.
Great seal motto: "Ready, Reliable, Lethal". Reminds me of the plaque outside some morgue: "You kill em, We chill em".
They're polishing the brass. Polished brass doesn't oxidize/corrode as easily, it's not as porous, it feeds and ejects better, and also deals somewhat with aesthetics.
Thank you for the 5.56mm,7.62mm NATO,and .50 caliber ammunition.
Very nice & intereting promotinal video, may god bless all
+Said Al Harthy
People who manufacture ammunition to kill other humans and animals with, do not deserve a God's blessing.
If you were a God of a planet, how would you like it if they produced weapons and ammo to kill each other off? You'd be a pissed of God, because the people destroy your creation.
+Paretozen Maybe that's why he gives cancer to children?
+Paretozen What country do you live in? If not in the US why should Americans care what your opinion is? And are you a vegetarian that now you're concerned about the killing of animals too? And how does "Paretozen" have any idea what God desires?
Man I'd love to work here. Looks fun. I love their ammo too
Can someone please explain why we're still packing ammo in bandoliers?? No one has been able to answer that in all my years serving. We havent used them since at least Vietnam
If your talking about the ammo shortage of 07-09, then its simply demand vs. production. There was a HUGE amount of demand in a very short time, something rarely experienced. There was just a shortage of ammo to go around and keep in supply. Normally ammo would sell at a fairly constant rate, and any shortage could easily be replenished as needed. When suddenly everyone and their brother starts buying, theres just not enough out there. Everytime it restocks, it gets resold and its gone.
ok, i am proud of you , god bless america!
These women look like they work really hard. I hope that they get paid well.
Great video. Great ammo
love it I have delivered the brass to make the casing and pick up loads very cool place
Lake City ammo is the best. When I buy once used brass, I prefer Lake City.
Yes, please enjoy ammo that, when you wait a day or two to clean your gun, rust has already started forming inside the barrel and action from the corrosive primers/powder.
Lake City Ammo Is VERY Good Ammo..!!! These People Pay attention To Detail.. My Grandfather Loaded Ammo on Planes During WW2 .. My Grandmothers. Brother Was A Belly Turret Gunner , And Was Shot Down Over Germany.. Pow Till the End of the War, And iDies At 80 S.. Buried. In Arlington C.. God Bless The USA .. Happy Veterans Day
A nation must understand foreign policy to understand its power projection in its significance abroad.
Ammo made with love !
This IS good stuff. Name one more country whose infantry annually qualifies out to 500yds today. Just the US, because we get good consistently loaded ammunition.
The new M855A2 is doing wonders in Helmand.
Radway Green plant in England produce over a million rounds of 5.56mm a day. Currently we have no real issues getting hold of ammunition in the UK, though the current demand in the USA is causing some draw down in availability worldwide.
so beautiful...
I have case of 1,000 rounds of their M855 5.56 on its way to me via FedEx right now, Looking forward to delivery!
LOVE IT ALL
looks like a load of fun
Didn't realize we had a Golf War - musta missed that one... ;)
sharing is caring!!
@thenomadrhodes
Blue actually means that it is just a plain dummy round.
HEI will be yellow and red with a silver tip. I retired a few months ago from AFSC 2W171 (Air force weapons specialist)
thanks
The military industrial complex is well and alive...
nice cartridges thanks!
4,000,000 rounds of ammo a DAY?!?
Sign me up to have THAT delivered to my house in everything used today from
.50BMG on down. A mix of .556x54mm, 9mm, .45ACP, 7.62x51mm and a smattering of the good old Ma Duece tossed in for good measure would be Okie dokie with me. ;-)
Howard Huggins Yeah you'd pretty much be set for life with that much ammo lol
I've been using Lake City M855 and M193 ammo for decades. Even though I am no longer in the military I still shoot a lot and I keep many thousands of rounds of Lake City on hand should the need ever arise to defend this country. Those crates in my basement remind of me of my service. And no I do not mean the XM855 or XM193 stuff that did not meet MilSpec standards for whatever reason. Lake City ammo comes out faster and truer than IMI, Prvi Partizan, Wolf Gold, Federal, and Black Hills, all of which I also consider to be very good ammo. Lake City is the best. Once fired the Lake City brass is also great for reloading. I've reused some of their brass up to 6-10 times depending on how hot I load it, and I could probably safely press it even more than that.
I will agree with you on the reloading aspect of your statement. I hae some old "Match Grade" brass that was made and fired in the early 60s. Reloading is superb and accuracy is spot on....
10 years in the army. I never had Lake City ammo fail once.
@STL308, so what is theyre main use, antipersonal, antiaircraft or something armor piercing maybe?
I love to see that much brass.
Hey everyone, this was made by a disadvantaged woman owned small business. Be proud that your country is not merit based, but special interest based, YAY!
i wonder if with all those rounds all jumbled up if the primer was ever struck hard enough to set one off
it is part of a quality check
@bestamerica I think the blue color is used to show its a HE or Incendiary around. Not real sure, but every time i've ever seen a 20mm round its all ways blue.
just not enough thumbs allowed up on this!
Mainer Man right on!
So since I own a share in this copany, can I be compensated in ammo? God that would be nice...
Ammunition traced directly to this plant found in use by the Islamic State. Couple that with the quote from the video ""I feel good because I do the best that I can, because I know that they're fighting for me, overseas" and you get my biggest laugh of the week. Bravo everybody.
So how long have you been in the military??or are you a non american??these folk's love their country and believe in the american way of life, another expert I guess.
Dan McCoy What are you on about dude? I fail to see what your post has to do with my comment. If these folk love their country and believe in the american way of life that's all well and good, but it doesn't negate in any way that the products of their labour are ending up being used by the Islamic State.
latinoheat300 IF that's true it's through no fault of theirs. I smell an Obama voter...
srdavis37 Its true, I'd post the link but couldn't be stuffed going through the process of posting a link on youtube.
Ha, stop projecting your idiotic american politics. If you as a person identify yourself on either of that liberal/conservative dichotomy it says all I need to know about you.
your just jealous cause you aint american, therefore dont have the freedom that we share, nothing to do with politics, all to do with identity.go play with yourself some more.
ahh, those military crimps................thanks to these woman and men..............
MegaBait56 yep I will dig thru all the brass I pick up just to find LC brass. The best
Reloading LC is a blast
Nice to see english speaking people working at the plant
Wish I could get the load for the M118LR
What is the powder charge so I can replicate it....
I have 4 bullets still held together by a belt, looks like it was for a machine gun, but it has LC96 and the circle with the cross in it and I found out LC ment Lake City and the circle means NATO specs. But I want to know what the 96 means and what they would have been used in with a belt like that. I believe they are 7.62.
the 96 means it was manufactured in 1996
my mom works there. shes one of the ones in charge of 223/5.56 production. i keep telling her to let me sneak in there and magically one of the pallets will be gone ;p lol
one day, will there be no brass left,or there is alot ?
I ❤️ Ammo..
Very nice *
why are all my Lake City green tip 5.56 rounds dented?
mt grand father was in the army after his passing i found a bullet in the casing with no powder on the bottom was stamp lc84 are lc 48 can any one tell me anything about it and what weapon was it use with .
LC means Lake City 84 was year made. Not sure why there was no powder. Perhaps the bullet was forced into the casing and powder came out? Primer intact?
Depends on caliber, without aprox. dimensions hard to say what weapon it was made for.
i wonder if they get a discount
Great to see
i need to change my diet by eating more lead and copper so i can crap out bullets
that's why I buy my bulk ammo from them it always works
@84llistic America is a Republic.
A semi load of this ammo was just delivered to DHS storage in KC... :-/
what are those blue ti´ps at @2:52? incendiary maybe?
I wonder if the LC employee's bonuses are paid in ammo. Incredible street value on it...
Ammo made at the Lake city arsenal is not sold to the public. Ammo that is sold to public is made by civilian companies.
I wish they told me I have 5 mins to get as much ammo as I can I'd get the whole pallet lol
The ammunition is just hardware. What a person employs it for should be the deciding factor.
mmm can't ever have enough ammo!
Do you only sell strictly to the military or can regular law abiding firearm owners buy your ammo too?
They sell over production amo to civilian. Winchester white box 5.56 fmj is stamped with LC ( lake city) and Federal with XM on the box is also military amo from LC.
I have tons of lake city ammo. They sell to the civilian market through many manufactures out there.
@@427SuperSnake1 you have 2000 + pounds of LC ammo wow 👌
2:51... holy shit... those are some big ass bullets.
this stuff is all great and they make good ammo... but couldn't they have found some more eloquent employees?....
probably the only ones that could read the lines that they were given.
+Hans Kruger That's a bit uncalled for don't you think? I'm sure being filmed makes them very nervous. Are you seriously judging someone's intelligence over 6 seconds of footage? You're a pathetic human being if you're this judgmental.
i dont know what i love so much about bullets..i mean you cant really do much with them without the right weapon...i think they just look pretty. That is all.
if i was there half that ammo would be mysteriously missing
The only reason to end another life is when my life or someone else is in immediate danger. The better the quality ammo just makes it easier to stop that threat. I am happy that my brothers and sisters in arms are supplied the best ammunition possible. Take your vision of a perfect world where everyone lives in peace and shove it where the sun don't shine because that isn't reality.
Because it's either old and beat up or it's not new LC ammo; ie; it's reloads.
