My first SWK was an 84 mm tinker. It was a gift from my dad for my 10th birthday. I still have it and I just turned 72. Love that size and it’s a great find. Enjoy it!

VERY cool Tinker. My very first SAK (1971 ish) had the squared shaft phillips with a file on one side that I mostly used for strike-anywhere matches. It also had a bail. Very similar to today's Fieldmaster configuration. I was the envy of the neighborhood kids with that knife.

I think the small Tinker was the first model MacGyver used. There's a comprehensive list somewhere online on every SAK model he used and the episode he used it 😆

The tinker small is my favorite edc tool.
I own a few and have given them as gifts.
