Another great video! I'm not sure whether you've talked about this before, but at 19:13 you can see what happens when one tunnel is built from two different directions, and when they meet to get connected together the alignment is slightly off. As far as I know that's the only point in the Montreal metro where, when different constructions sites eventually met, there was a problem, which is pretty good for 1960s technology.
Wow that's so interesting! I never knew this. I know a few parts of the tunnels have a similar design right before the station. I figured it was just a place for storage or another purpose.
Patrick viau has really 4 or 5 sets of tracks on the right theres at least 2 both are fenced off but 1 was for parking service flat cars and pickup trucks the one next to it goes into the shop then the 3rd one is i think main line the 4th i think is like a huge switch and the 5th is east bound trains .
Thanks Patrick, I always enjoy your videos. It's relaxing and comforting even if it's just a metro ride. You're not alone feeling down..
Thanks mate! I appreciate it
@@SkyOfTheUniverse btw, I saw a deadheading mr-73 train at Sauvé today. It was nice th-cam.com/users/shortsV3cEecd3BeA?si=KTelYeTWQIFxNbV6
