Gm luv. Great video and results. I recently did a second big chop on my natural hair but it’s a lil shorter than yours. I’ve never done a wash and go so I said this would be the perfect time to do one. I used the Aunt Jackie’s Flaxseed gel and my hair turned out perfect. The shine was amazing and it felt so moisturized. The only con I had was the shrinkage. It didn’t elongate my curls but all in all I really love this product. Thanks again for recommending and I look forward to more natural hair videos ❤️
This is the only gel I use now. Nothing stretches, defines, and give me the same level of shine....the only thing is the smell. I’m really sensitive to fragrances and it lowkey can give me a headache but the things we do for beauty...🤷🏾♀️

My daughters hair is thick and shrinks alot and makes her hair appear shorter then what it is. I've been doing double strand twist in her hair. I take them out every other week to redo them. I hope this works for my babies hair.
Brian N Nakia Do you use it on freshly wash hair? Also, do you put any oil or anything on before you apply it? I have this product at home But I’m scare to use it
I spritz my hair with a rice water mix infuse with light oils. I use a diy leave in conditioner or cantu leave in to seal moisture and then finish with the aunt jackies. I'll be making my own flaxseed gel soon since that is the ingredient with the high mucilage we need to stretch hair.
Did anyone have any issues with flaking? I used lala curl by aunt Jackie, oil, and then the don't shrink gel. I had a twist out style and I left it for a week. I took it down and my curls look great, but I have flakes.

I just tried this product and it’s smells amazing😃and it definitely made my hair softer, but the shrinkage is still there tbh😊But otherwise great.

You can use the banding method to stretch your curls :)
