Hey Trinity, I'm a 70 year old and I am living vicariously through you. I wanted to cowboy growin' up and attended Bob King's cowboy school in Arvada Wyoming to acquire the skills needed. I had a chance to ride some really great cow horses and move cattle from one pasture to another. I sure do miss it! I have mild cerebral palsy and I could never figure out how to handle and feed out my coils one handed. Thanks for allowing us to experience a lifestyle and job that is truly a gift from God !

Ever once in a while, that horse would, of his own accord, bunch those cows up and run ‘em from one end of the field to the other. Man, those cows hated it. Lol. Enjoy the videos, keep it up

They live up in Livingston Montana and I get to go up in the summer to help and work. It will be my first time ever moving cows this next summer, I'm really excited! Heck I like work up there because at home down in Idaho I can't do much and there is no work other than getting wood for my papa and my grandpa with my dad. I might talk to my parents about getting a job in Montana once I can drive. Though it'll have to include horses. Lol

Beautiful. What a climb that was.
When i was young, my mom had a (riding/Dutch Warmblood) horse that was scared of cows. :))
I always had to pay attention to cows standing in a pasture anywhere. If he saw the cows before i did, he might just pivoted underneath from me and take off :))
Happened a couple of times. I lost him, fell off and he would run back to the stable lolol
The people there angry at me for losing him.
He was a great horse, but a knucklehead when it came to cows.
I tried everything. Let him meet cows up close. It got better over time. But he was always nervous when close to cows.

Now when Corry's horse gets scratches on the rear pasterns instead of calling the vet to come shave him and put ointment just treat is with fly wipe. It kills the organizims better

On a big push we had 2 horses each. First one worn out by midday. Some of those cows were mean as a grumpy bear. Hardest riding I’ve ever done. I loved it.
