@@calebye1 I’ve mentioned this a couple of times but I don’t currently have a good mic to record voice overs with. I only have my phone mic and AirPods so the audio would be super scuffed. I do plan to do the voice overs myself in the future though when I do get a good mic 👍🏿

Thanks I always try to spend a few hours looking through a brawlers kit and checking competitive games. My goal with every change is to make it have context in the game and not just be random numbers.

Imo Penny should relaoad her one ammo from 2 seconds to 1,7 sec
As a penny main, she is a good pick in hotzone that’s slept on. Both gadgets can catch the other team off guard and apply pressure on the zone (specifically talking about ring of fire and dueling beetles because those are two of her best maps)
Just a slight range/damage buff and we have her in the meta again.
Also just put master blaster in her main kit already because literally nobody uses that over heavy coffers
I actually haven’t seen anyone use heavy coffers in a while, which is why I made it a mythic gear instead. But I definitely agree with her being an underrated pick in modes like hotzone. She especially is amazing as a last pick to counter brawlers like 8bit, Mr P, Jessie, and Pam.
I love deleting the enemy team that gave me the perfect position with their 8-bit super placement
I'm a Penny main, and I only pick Master Blaster if I face off against a team consisting mostly of assasins.
Penny before the rework was amazing, then they destroyed her. Took away the fun star powers and gadgets and made her boring and retarded@@Natics_BS

I really feel like penny is such an underrated pick in so many gamemodes that go on for more than afew mins
Definitely in drawn out games of hotzone, gem grab, and knockout she is such an underrated pick especially for countering brawlers like 8bit, Pam, and Mr P.
Yeah slightly buffing Penny would help with the L&L situation. I feel like she is good at supporting brawlers who can't reach throwers and marksmen. She pressures them a good bit.
Honestly I would take a small buff to her range and I'd be happy

The star power being moved to a gear actually makes a lot of sense... But i think that gaining super charge from spawners is REALLY situational and she is already an amazing spawner counter. If the meta changes to a non spawner meta, she is useless. Maybe doing something like her coins makrs oponentes for 4 second could be more interesting and usefull overall

I use the barrel gadget because it is very good against close-range brawlers 💖
Penny is great on that hot zone map that ticks love to spam on while standing in one spot. I ALWAYS pick her on it no matter what the enemy picked, the turret is such a great distraction and source of dmg - just throw it over the walls towards where throwers like to stand, and it’s literally a GG.
Also the dmg from her attack splitting can one shot some brawlers

Will you be doing a video on Barley? He's not a bad or useless brawler right now but other throwers are power creeping him a lot. Dyna after the buffs and hyperchage, Willow has more consistent damage, and I'm not even Talking about Grom, Sprout and Tick since they are kind of their own thing and succeed in different modes (appart from Grom also being a decent Heist pick). But mostly after L&L it feels specially pointless to play him despite his super being such a nice area control tool.

I want penny to be buffed. I was a day 1 penny fan back in the day and i even played her when she was at her worst.
Penny needs buff. especially in her cannon, he is very inconsistent.

I actually think penny is an underrated pick in hot zone, she can very consistently hit brawlers in the zone and create a ton of pressure on the zones, especially with the pet power gear making each hit do 3k without the flames, giving penny a ton of zone control, especially on one zone maps
Yeah she is definitely underrated there, especially in draft as a last pick to counter brawlers like Pam, Jessie, 8bit, and Charlie. But if the opponents have a decently tanky comp without spawners she can get collapsed upon too easily.

Heat up: All flames from Penny’s cannon explode, dealing an instant 1000 damage (Probably would need some adjustment damage wise), and refresh the timer on the flames
The reason I’m scrapping spyglass shot is because her hyper charge could be a more permanent version of it, I call it…
No Honor Among Thieves: Penny’s cannon can now fire shots at 2 targets at once
I think this could be a really fun way to gain area control, but not actually amp up the damage in most circumstances, as Penny’s cannon already does pretty good damage, especially with pet power gear
I think good brawler topic u could do is max i feel like she doesnt exceed anywhere but can do it all really.

The new starpower for countering spawners is not enough
for example if a penny walking up to hc jessie turret it won't be a win for penny but a trade
so I think it should also give penny life leach like edgars main attack but it won't be too powerful
so in the above example penny will survive on around 1350 - 14500 hp

I know its unrelated but what do you think of them generally
I think tick is in a somewhat balanced state now, but is definitely overrated by a lot of people. And Darryl probably just needs a hypercharge to be balance like the other tanks.

I can't imagine how good these changes Will be, since i started playing penny was my favorite, she still Is to the point i Made a little "concept" for her hyper, her cannon shots twice but with a little delay between shots, as she's an "zoner" this was supossed to support that zone control playstyle, but yours Is just so goddam perfect

@@Natics_BS its a 2500 shot with 500 tick dmg, but you actually tried to be unique unlike jessie's and her simple buff to scrappy's stats, that makes It up "creativity"
P.S. I use heavy coffers, I don't like the idea of dropping my turret on people for damage....If anything I think that one should be changed, kinda a stupid concept.
I hope that her hypercharge will come soon , she's the first Brawler i got above rare , the first brawler that I got a skin on , the first brawler that I mastered , she's definitly my main and never regreted when I spent gems on her skins or gold to max her out 🔥
I feel like for Penny we need another Brock and Piper situation. Both used to be roughly the same brawler but Piper dealt more damage, that’s when they Gave Brock his old first star power into his regular kit and he was a more crowd control brawler vs Piper who picks off a brawler 1 by 1, and then there’s many do can do both but leans more of an easier version of Piper who can deal consistent damage up close.
Penny is competing against Jesse and I feel like she needs to stand out more against Jesse. I’m glad balls of fire is in her base kit but she needs more imo
another W video, my only potentially negative thought is I worry her plunderer star power would run into a similiar issue to sams remote recharge star power, which is that it just doesnt charge enough to make a difference, because even when theres an enemy who spawns units there typically only like one per 20-30ish seconds if that which means shed be lucky to even get one super off it, with how niche it aorrady is, id propose just having it charge her super as much as hitting a brawler(but dont make it charge her hc)
I thought about this but versus a lot of turrets it’s more influential than what you would think. Penny takes 4 shots to kill a Jessie turret so it would charge 40% of her super. A Pam turret would take 3 shots so 30%. Every Mr P porter and the home base take 2 so 20%. And all the rest do similar charging 10-20%.
@@Natics_BS True, its just it would be rare for a jessie to throw a turret onto a penny if this star power was a thing, so it would be easily counterplayed at a higher level, and then also theres a good chance your teammates would help you kill the turret which would give you less shots on the turrets, although it could still find use against stuff like mr p(cuz their spawnables move on their own accord so they cant really stop them from going towards penny instead of any other enemy)
Penny is very underrated thanks to the increase that changed some interactions but she still needs a slight buff to damage or reload the attack canons attack time is not bad but she is still quite easy to counter currently mid overall nice concepts you created🤩

@@Natics_BS the difference is that Penny died after those nerfs, L&L is still yop 5 even after ALL those nerfs
i don't rly like the hyper idea since it's a lil too complex for newer players and doesn't provide as much value as a jesse turret or a nita bear with the hyper. i'd suggest to maaake the cannon shoot a bomb every 2s with an additional 300dmg on impact but it doesn't get any health boost and penny can't heal the cannon unlike nita and jesse (but the cannon would still be in hyper form if it doesn't die after the 5s)
The problem with this though is that she would have a 100% area control, as the fire rings stays down longer than 2s. This was actually the reason they had to emergency nerf her cannon and make the shot delay longer. I can see a simpler one adding damage and maybe another effect but they shouldn’t touch the fire rate anymore.
that's nice and stuff, but nowadays they can probably just make her an hypercharge and call it a day. and that's why hipercharge is a game breaker, the hipercharge brawler must be worse than it was before without the hipercharge and better than it was with the hipercharge, unless the hipercharge is useless, so the brawlers get broken for who has the hypercharge and at the same time bad for everyone who hasn't
I will kep it real with you, penny's play style has changed now, before she was a super agressive character put now she plays more like a controler/sniper mix, the first star powers only servers the purpose of getting assasins of you but if there are no assassins the second star power is a NO BRAINER, the salt barrel is a completely useless gadget in most situation, if you use the second gadget with the one more gadget gear and with the extra damage gear her morter becomes a menace, I think that they should lean in more of the sniper side of her, giving her more range and a actually descent "get of me" tool instead of the barrel

These ideas are so cool but i do think some might hav an issue...
Penny was already decent against spawners so it feels like playing more into this would make her more redundant because she already does that.
Penny is kinda like Brock known as a jack of all trades character but not in a bad way and i think that to an extent that is a part of her character identity now.
Penny was always strong with her super her counterplay was not letting her charge it, i think making her super so easy to charge on spawners means we have to make the super much worse in general which is really her only saving grace.
Playing into the spawner counter identify was a way to buff her without just reverting her past nerfs. Even now brawlers she is supposed to counter like Jessie can run over her with their hypercharges. In Jessie’s case her hypercharged turret just has too much hp for penny to deal with without her cannon. And due to penny’s repeated health nerfs she easily gets 2 or 3 shot by other brawlers in her previous best modes. The spawner counter changes would only be useful against brawler with those abilities too, which is less than 1/3 of the brawlers.

It changes a lot but my current favorite has been Doug for a few months. With Kit and Lou close behind.
I don't think Penny will ever be at L&L level, she's still getting countered by hc meta brawlers. Also, even when she had a year to shine, she was still counterable. She feels like Bonnie in a way where they were once decent but got powercrept by new brawler mechanics and hcs. Honestly, they shld buff atk-related things like reload speed and ammo shot speed and maybe shot speed. Current maps, she gets melted by assassins and long-range brawlers.

Yeah the L and L comparison was more about her initial rework release, before she got emergency nerfed a day later. And yeah her main weakness is definitely the damage and aggro creep with hypercharges.
She might get a shitty hc like Belle where it just homes or just very similar to Jesse

Hey Natics I know sometimes it’s not ideal for certain reasons but could you do a video using your real voice? I know it’s not a particularly massive change for how long it would take but it would engage people like me so much better because I much rather hearing a voice with emotion than a ai, monotone voice
I actually can’t right now as the audio would be pretty bad. I do not have a functional mic right now besides my phone’s mic and my AirPods so it would be really scuffed. I do plan to use my voice in the future though when I get a good enough mic.

I think she’s in a great spot even though she’s not really a competitive option, because she is outclassed by Angelo, Nani, and piper. Even still she has decent play rates and amazing win rates. My only changes would be to her star powers and obviously I would give her a mythic gear and hypercharge.

I like the concept but I don’t think it is something they would do, as they have stated they want all the supers to function the same but with added effects.
