Beautiful Bobby Eaton Rest in Peace. The nicest right hand punch in wrestling history. He would throw that right and snap it right back. Good Alabama Jam he did solo or in as member of the Midnight Express. Bobby Eaton said nothing but Jim Cornette would do all their talking. One of the great teams. Need to be in WWE HoF! I liked his single push. Was a great TV champion. I heard his wife passed away. I bet he was stressed out about that and couldn't live without her.

Sickest bump I ever saw Bobby take was in WCCW: he and Dennis vs the Fantastics. I don’t remember who threw him, but he went headfirst over the top rope, and landed on his back on the ground. The ring had to be 4 feet high. The ground was covered with plywood. His landing was perfect, and he got up to continue the match.

I watched Bobby his whole career. JCP would come through my small town in S.C. a few times a year and i loved it every time. I made an odd comment on Facebook wrestling page about Beautiful Bobby looking like Benny Hill from the old British comedy show and thought nothing of it because they really looked alike and within thirty minutes his wife had seen the post and said she had been waiting 40 years to hear that and I finally said it. I immediately apologized for any offense but she said that her and her dad would always call him Benny to try to rile him up. It wasn't long after that she passed away. She had a great sense of humor about it and seemed to get a real kick out of me finally mentioning Benny Hill. Whoever is old enough that reads this will know who Benny Hill is. If not look him up. RIP Donna and Bobby✌❤

The hof is both a work and a way to recognize some (not all) of the all time greats. Just like the other hofs it is political sometimes based on who is in charge. Even thought he was a heel, I started talking to him because I had always been a big wrestling fan. Bobby was really friendly and every time he came in he would always stop and talk to me. I met a lot of other wrestlers while I lived in Charlotte, but Bobby was the friendliest of them all. That always stood out to me because you could tell Bobby was a quiet person in wrestling and outside of the business as well. He was a great worker in the ring and I have always put him in my top 5 greatest in ring performers as far as technical ability. it's a shame that a person like Bobby Eaton who is across the board talked as one of the greatest workers and greatest men didn't get the honor of being inducted into the HOF. I know it's b.s. but he deserved that honor.
RIP Beautiful Bobby Eaton. Easily one of my favorite wrestlers and the Alabama Jam is the greatest leg drop in the business

I don’t like the implication that JC is the reason the Midnights arent in the Hall of Fame. If it was all about recognizing talent then Stan Lane & Steve Kern could’ve been inducted as The Fabulous Ones. Bobby and Dennis or Bobby and Stan could’ve been inducted as the Midnight Express but they know Cornette is the straw that stirs the drink and like you guys said over and over here…its a television show! So now WWE doesnt want Entertainment? What a load of BS!

You guys are so awesome sitting there giving all of these praises to Bobby eating that he's so rightfully deserves. I watched Mid-Atlantic championship wrestling from 1983 on through the glory years. Saturday at at noon and 6:05 and 11 at night with my favorite time of the day just hearing Tony,Bob,David, and Johnny's voices made my whole entire day. And I could not wait for Sunday night 605 on TBS. You guys were all a big part of my childhood. My favorite tag team was the rock and roll Express in my favorite individuals was Magnum TA and Dusty Rhodes. Thank you for the memories and for making wrestling what it should be. Rest in peace Bobby Eaton.

I'm glad that Tony mentioned Drew Carey & Pete Rose. Those names alone (no matter what "wing" they're in) proves that the WWE Hall of Fame is a joke to its own profession and is a mockery to people like Bobby Eaton and Randy Savage who actually helped build the business into what it is.

The fact that the Midnight Express is not in the WWE HOF is a disgrace. I don't know the reason, I'm guessing it's something Jim Cornette said - but, if someone knows specifically let me know.
