It’s a shame the writer’s strike ended up ignoring Santiago’s character upon return.
Yeah, felt he would had been a good character going fwd. In S4 he prob goes to the East side Lions.
Santiago had 1 good game and he was never seen or heard of again lol
I miss good shows like this, they are now very few and very far between.

3:27 I didn't know Dillon TX had a big airport lol.
I was actually just in Austin. The stadium where they shot the scene is in the Del Valle Neighborhood of Austin, which is literally right by the Airport. The stadium is almost completely ruined as they have let it really go to waste, but the fieldhouse is still there, you just can't go in.

Tim Riggins was helping Santiago Herrera with Block drills as a Middle Linebacker. I didn't know that Santiago Herrera got out of jail, he's an Ex-Convict. Tim Riggins gives Santiago a Lesson, and I didn't know that he's a Mexican-American in Texas.

@@brysonhardy9082 yes he was released on parole but didn’t have any family to stay with cuz his parents got deported and that’s where Buddy took him in and got him a job working at his dealership
@@eatsailboatfromthegarbage2157 Tim Riggins based on Don Billingsley? I'm glad that Santiago Herrera was staying with Buddy Garrity. Yeah, I heard Santiago's Parents got Deported.
What was funny was that Riggins thought since Taylor was back, everything was going to be wishy washy and he was going to slide into his fullback position. After missing 2 weeks of practice and 2 games, (one of each on Taylor) he got sacked. Turns out before he was allowed to come back, Riggins getting kicked off the team humbled him a lot.
Man I loved that show!
The first season of this show was filmed at my high school, Pflugerville High School, my junior year. I got to be in 2 crowd scenes, don’t know if it made the show or not nor care. Watched the first episode, saw the QB “break his back” but wasn’t in position so wiggled to be in it and never watched another episode after that.
You missed out, the show is fire.

Why in the hell Riggins didn't tell coach WHY he left for Mexico, to keep Street from getting himself killed! I think Coach might have given him a little grace for that.
