Up until this point Riggins was just apologizing to the coach. Not the team. Coach gave him a little hint here that the team as a whole was let down and that they were owed an apology. If Riggins just left after that, it would've shown coach that he still didn't understand. But it finally hit him, and once he apologized to the team, he was back on it.
I would accept that apology without question. You go from pissed to laughing at the end but you know the other guy put themselves out there when they didn't have to.
So he can just leave whenever and then just come back like that despite the coach telling him to leave because he made corny apologies to players? Coach should've just called for police once he refused to leave.
Called the police? Lol. Coach taylor loved Riggins in his heart and knew how important he was to the teams success, he was just trying to prove a point by not letting him come back onto the team so easily. But once Riggins proved that he understood why Coach was upset in that he let his teammates down and apologized, coach gave him another chance.

Smash was the soul of the team and Riggins was the heart.
And Saracen was the single brain cell that they all share
Riggs the greatest character ever.
I agree but also the cheesiest. "Texas forever 6"
The whole show was cheesy...poor mans one tree hill
Should have gotten his own show
@@GIBBO4182 it's way better than one tree hill
@@anthonyschuelke2499 just for Sophia Bush alone OTH was better!!
“You lose that virginity yet?” 😂😂😂😂
As he’s dating the coach’s daughter

He's a good actor. He might be one of the top five in this series.
honestly talent wise I'd say it's Vince i mean look at Michael B now? He was fantastic in The Wire so i guess i'm a little biased.
He might be top five in this series? He is the series.
making it up in the showers - that's a team leader
Riggings, coach taylor, and Saracen best characters
I’m an English man who doesn’t really get American football but that was a great show
Loved this show!!!!!
Great show. Great character.
I love that it’s impossible to fully shake the Canadian
The brotherhood is more important than self....
I might have a totally heterosexual man crush on Taylor Kitsch. Just sayin
That mans hair was otherworldly
so motivational
U can’t tell Mike Murphy what he can an can’t do😎
Always thought I was gonna get big and have hair like riggin 😂😂 never did!
nicest practice uni's I ever saw ....................Riggins.....every team had one.....or wishes they would have
The question is, did Riggs love football or beer more?
Beer
if he loved beer more he wouldn’t have shown up to practice
he loved the ladies even more , but loved Texas the most
Texas Forever
@@chuckbecker5635 Drunk and hungover you mean?

Big Tim Riggins!
Taylor gatoooooo lindooooo
Vamos criar memórias hoje!
Riggs returns 2012 or 2010 nbc Friday night lights maybe 2005 or earlier
Riggins shouldn't have gone to Mexico
The fact that the character was basically a 17 year old womanizing alcoholic but the adults still wanted him to play was insane
The music sucks

You must have never seen the documentary “The Last Dance.” Dennis Rodman made Riggins look like a Boy Scout.
