That looks like a spectacular day! All except that insane fellow screaming “encouragement” at the poor contestants. 😉
That stretch of river looks gorgeous, albeit unforgiving. I’ll have to stick with flatwater, as much as I envy those who can handle whitewater. It looks like such fun. You did a good job, James, of documenting the camaraderie of the day. In the words of that insane man, “WELL DONE!!” 😁
I must admit, I wasn't too sure how all my 'encouragement' was going to go down. I did get a lot of good feedback at the end saying it helped quite a few people. More next year, though I plan to take part next year and try and get 10 laps.
