- Brian Parry, a former California Corrections Officer, has become a prominent advocate for the release of Rene "Boxer" Enriquez, a former leader of the Mexican Mafia. Parry's support for Enriquez's release is rooted in his firsthand observations of Enriquez's profound transformation and genuine commitment to redemption. Throughout his career, Parry witnessed the harsh realities of prison life and the potential for change within even the most hardened individuals. He chose to advocate for Rene because he believes in the power of rehabilitation and the importance of giving people a second chance. Parry's dedication to Enriquez's cause highlights his belief in restorative justice and the potential for positive change within the criminal justice system.
This is the story behind the story. Crazy how a life long cop that was responsible for putting Enriquez away for life ultimately helped him win his freedom. Keep up the good work. Good luck Rene.
Boxer was very persuasive
I don't know very many people who could take Brian Parry's lunch money. Rene isn't one of them. I know them both. If Brian held his hand up for Rene, it was deserved. I know many people are skeptical about someone of Rene's history being able to sincerely change. But, it does happen. Really.
So this cop arrested Rene and ultimately advocated for his release? Damn however you feel about either one of these guys, it’s a crazy story.
U ever done time? I. Bet , u. dont bamg
@@user-hb2vp7rm7s so what does gang banging and doing time have to do with an interesting story?
People evolve.
@@user-hb2vp7rm7signorant comment, who cares if he did time or not
When is the movie coming out?
Brian Parry is a legend, a man of honor and respect in our Law Enforcement Family👊🏼👊🏼
.love this historic content. Keep it going
Mr Perry you are definitely one of my idols. Been hearing about u since i started my career 23 years ago. You are a man amongst men. My hat is off to you good sir
Boxer cooperated it was just another move he made in his criminal career.
Exactly
He cooperated/snitched.
I thought that was a no-no. 🤷
@@BillyCervantes-c6r It is until the day you end up with a life sentence in prison.
100 % Never Trust a con that flipped
Like it or not he manage to change and work with the government, Good work Rene!
Amazing episode, is there part 2?
Wow! Looking at the familiar person, but from a different angle now. Thnx for the upload.
🙏✌️
Outstanding story Brian. I was on Pelican Bay's Security Squad, when Enriquez debriefed. I agree with you 100% on your decision to support Enriquez's release.
Interesting outcome, the assistance in prosecutions of active affiliates is insane.. has Rene ever disclosed his reasoning? How does a high ranking lifelong member of one of the worlds most notorious organizations just "fatigue"?
His reasoning for dropping out?? He was a really shitty person that used his position to hurt a lot of people. He was fucking people over left and right and it eventually caught up to him. He had strong allies but after most of them passed away or went to the Feds, the brothers that were left were sick of his scandalous ways and had enough of him. He knew it and didn’t want to face it so he dropped out. He’s the worst kind of person, people only fall for his bullshit cuz he’s a master manipulator.
Read his book and you’ll understand.
I'll never understand why people judge a man for betraying the devil.
Brian is a legend among law enforcement agencies. His word is honor and gold👊🏼👊🏼
Everyone deserves a second chance but I'm not sure how I feel about a third or forth.
*fourth
He's very articulate and has great vocabulary he speaks well. Good leadership
Knuckleheads are going to be Knuckleheads no matter what level you are in prison. The biggest Knuckleheads in control are the issue. No doubt Rene had the smarts and that was his downfall, being the smartest guy in the bunch.
I wonder if you know any of my family, they have been in corrections such a long time
My career at PBSP brought me in contact with Boxer early, and while the debrief was going on. I do hope you are right
Good episode
Didn't Danny Trejo say no one called Joe Morgan "Peg Leg"?
Interview Rene if possible
I wanted to watch the video to hear some of the details and which helped him motivate changes his mind. He gave some details, but they were very in depth as to why those details help sway him to change his mind cause for me it would have to be overwhelming evidence, not surface level evidence, but again this video let me down. It said a little something, but it wasn’t what I was expecting.
Boxer dropped out bc his name was on the list. He was scared his carnales do him like he did others
Is that not a good reason?
Rene played chess not checkers, smart wise man benefited from both side of board checkmate. If you were to know the truth behind his chess moves you will realize the mastermind behind his plays
Can you take me up there with you I’m directly involved in this life but I’m the daughter of Kiki and I seemed to have gone backwards! 5:47
You're Boxers daughter?
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
God watch over this man
Retired then came back as an advisor to the director,
Fair play, coin that money in,
Sod Rena, let’s hear your story, bet you got one to tell,
Rene is just a compulsive liar.
I know this idea has been thrown around loosely but, had he gone in a different direction in life, he would be at the head of a fortune 500 company right now and be a billionaire. I feel terrible for him with the loss of his son. But he has made some terrible mistakes and done things that can never be reversed. But I feel that he deserves a chance to show the world that he is truly a changed man and does not follow those bs politics anymore. I don't think people truly understand the hold that an organization like the MM or NF has on a young man from an early age. You fear them, you respect them, you see the power they wield, and when you come from the inner cities and see the thumbprint they have on your community, you fall in line. Rene is way past that point and deserves a real chance at life. Just my honest opinion.
Excellent wording
Boxer should make his own Chanel and he would have a million followers monetized have a million dollars not this lil Chanel
Arta
LET"S SEE HOW HE"S DOING IN 7 YEARS
Rene is a example of your gang turn on you and then you turn on them. I dont blame him. There is no such thing as gang bang for life. The ones i know gang bang for life are on drugs so yes no turning back
Bro u are with we called a snitch in punk
