Christian here. The whole premise of salvation in Christianity is believing in Jesus Christ as the Son of God (Isaiah 9:6) and that He paid for our sins (Isaiah 53:5-12). It is the belief and confession that connects one to the atonement of sins payed for by Jesus. Paul or no paul we dont believe sins are taken care of by following the law which no one is perfect. God provided himself the perfect sacrifice in Jesus Christ. By Adam sin entered into the world, by Jesus the solution to sin entered into the world. The yearly sacrifice for atonement was a type and shadow until Jesus showed up and made the perfect atonement for sin.
I've recently became a Noahide myself. Spent my whole life all the way up to now 52 years old and I've had every type of denomination of Christianity shoved down my throat and I was told by so many Christians and their "come to Jesus moment" and several times I gave my everything to trying to have the same experience because my fundamental way of being all my life is don't tell me what to believe show me and I will believe and no matter how hard I tried or how much I gave in nothing it never happened and I never felt or saw anything that personally convinced me that this is what I'm supposed to do. Well fast forward a few years and I married my soulmate love of my life the more amazing woman I've ever known and she is Jewish by blood and faith and I never was exposed to it or knew too much about it but she started sharing things with me and I started researching it on my own and one night as I was having a really hard time and I just so happened to be listening to a Rabbi explaining Judaism and I thought to myself and asked G-D the G-D of the Jewish people to come to me and show me the truth and enlightening me and I will never turn away or deny anything else ever again and almost immediately and for the next hour and half I had an experience that I can't even put in words fully and it was by far the most amazing experience I've ever had and from that moment on I've been fully devoted and working side by side with my wife and learning and practicing the beautiful true faith of Judaism and ever since our marriage has reached a higher level of love and devotion and our family is even happier and things in my life personally that normally have been difficult are now easy and I feel like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. So I don't care what other's say or believe I truly tried hard and did everything I possibly could do for years and years to have a connection with our Creator and be a man of faith but it never happened and it wasn't unit I opened myself up to the one true G-D that it happened. The only thing I regret is that I didn't find it earlier in my life but in the area I grew up in and lived most of my life the only type of religion around was one form of Christianity or another and no one I knew ever mentioned Judaism and I just was never exposed to it or looked into myself so that's my only regret but it's not the amount of human years you have with our Creator that matters I don't think. It only matters if you have a relationship and connection with him and I am so blessed for that and my beautiful family..

*_GayZEUS_* of the Synoptic Gospels is a literary character invented by the Romans to promote the recent arrival of the Flavian dynasty to imperial power, creating an archetype of messiah towards which all preexisting Jewish prophecies converged. The aim was (1) to empty Jewish concepts, hijacking the messianic hope and solidifying a controversial archetype of Jewish messiah, (2) to blame the Jews for their own destruction in the war of Jerusalem in 70 and (3) to exalt the Flavian dynasty of emperors. The content of the message propagated by the characters in the narrative portrays an agenda of political accommodation, preservation of the imperial “status quo”, anti-Judaism and military indoctrination: both for Roman soldiers and for colonized civilians. Soldiers are often the recipients of the teachings of the Gospels, which occur both explicitly (as in Luke 3:14, when John the Baptist recommends that soldiers be content with their pay, just as Rome advised those recruited for military service) and implicitly (as in Luke 9:23, when the instruction is given to abandon everything - family, friends, work - and follow the leader, just as the government wanted the soldiers to do). There is also abundant teaching reinforcing the civil obligation to serve soldiers, including obeying them for twice the amount required (Matthew 5:41). The character Jesus always presents himself as the reformer of the Law of Moses (Matthew 5:38, correcting Exodus 21:24 on the principle of “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth”) and the propagator of various Roman laws (as in Mark 10:12 on marriage and in Matthew 22:21 recommending the payment of taxes). Jesus never taught his disciples to love Jews or their relatives, but he *_did teach them to love Romans (Matt. 5:44) and to turn the other cheek (Matt. 5:39). The Flavian Theory, therefore, not only presents a coherent argument for the literary origins of Jesus, but also highlights the Romans' ability to use religion as a tool of sociopolitical control._* *_Some of the most enigmatic passages found in the gospels are more easily understood when seen through the eyes of a general speaking to his legions._* *I had an insipid deplorable two faced Greek woman admit to all of it proudly in these comment boards awhile ago, very sickening.* 🤮🤮🤮

I completely agree! He is a beautiful soul and I'm still learning so much and he makes it so much easier for me to understand. I can set and listen to him for hours and hours.
Paul's claim that Mosaic Law had been replaced by particular spiritual communications he said he received from the spirit-body of the departed Jesus never had a chance to gain traction from Jews, the people who believed in the Torah. However, the pagans weren't Torah followers so Paul's message wasn't grotesquely offensive to them. In fact, if you were told you could spend eternity in the blissful presence of the great creator god, you might join up. You had nothing to lose.
Paul was adjusted to fit the orthodoxy and the christian story written around Jesus. I'm a recovering Catholic - I love many things about the Catholic faith but the whole thing is unfortunately riddled with lies and make believe. Couldn't deal with the duplicity so I left. Remarkably it's the hardest thing I have ever done. The brainwashing is that deep. Thanks Tovia Singer, your program has helped me allot. ❤🎉
"Paul was adjusted to fit the orthodoxy and the christian story written around Jesus." But who claims that? As a self-proclaimed Catholic with a superficial understanding of your faith, you seem unaware of Church history. St. Paul was embraced by the apostles and the early Church; he could not have simply fabricated his teachings.
You’re one of the lucky ones. With the clout, political cache, and resource of the RCs, it’s a blessing that you were able to reach the spiritual escape velocity necessary. Shalom.
@@sammydasilva6152interesting claim but can you explain Paul and Peter had a heated argument over Peter's behavior towards Gentile believers, which is recorded in Galatians 2:11-19 Peter initially ate with Gentile believers, but stopped when friends of James arrived and he was afraid of their criticism Paul confronted Peter, calling his behavior hypocritical and saying, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew". Paul was angry that Peter was perverting the gospel by separating Jews from Gentiles The Jewish Christians in Antioch sided with Peter, including Paul's friend Barnabas Teaches that justification is by faith, apart from works of the law. For example, in Romans 3:28, Paul says, "A person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law". Teaches that a person is justified by works, and not by faith alone. For example, in James 2:24, James says, "You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone" James uses "works" to describe moral deeds that flow from a healthy Christ-follower, while Paul uses it to refer to specific works of the law. Acts that depict a discussion between James and Paul regarding the requirements for Gentile Christians are found in Acts 15:1-32; specifically, the key points of contention are highlighted in verses 13-21 where James, considered a leader in the Jerusalem church, agrees with Paul that Gentiles do not need to follow Jewish law to be saved, but suggests they should still abstain from certain practices like eating food offered to idols to maintain unity with Jewish believers. And Paul attacks the followers of James and Peter in his letters Paul says, "You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified" in Galatians 3:1 1 Corinthians 2:2, where Paul states, "For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified." Paul as you can see disagreed on the teachings of the disciples also he disagrees with Jesus a lot
@@sammydasilva6152 for example here are some of the contradictions 1. On the time of the coming of the Lord: Paul says: Rom.13:12 the night is far gone, the day is at hand. Jesus says: Luke.21:8 Take heed that you are not led astray; for many will come in my name, saying, . . . `The time is at hand!' Do not go after them. 2. On the source of the Truth and the true gospel: Paul says: 1Cor.2:13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit. Gal.1:12 For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ. Jesus says: John.17:14 I have given them thy word; Sanctify them in the truth; thy word is truth. 3. On the God of the dead: Paul says: Rom.14:9 For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. Jesus says: Luke.20:38 Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living; 4. On the sum of the commandments: Paul says: Rom.13:9 The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and any other commandment, are summed up in this sentence, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus says: Matt.22:37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. [38] This is the great and first commandment. [39] And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. [40] On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets. 5. On whom God has mercy: Paul says: Rom.9:15 For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." [16] So it depends not upon man's will or exertion, but upon God's mercy. [18] So then he has mercy upon whomever he wills, and he hardens the heart of whomever he wills. Jesus says: Matt.5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. 6. On forgiveness of trespasses: Paul says: Eph.1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of ourtrespasses, according to the riches of his grace Rom.4:25 who was put to death for our trespasses and raised for our justification. Jesus says: Matt.6:14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father also willforgive you; [15] but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Fatherforgive your trespasses 7. On being justified: Paul says: Rom.3:24 they are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,[28] For we hold that a man is justified by faith apart from works of law. Rom.5:9 Since, therefore, we are now justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. Jesus says: Matt.12:37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. 8. On the cost of eternal life: Paul says: Rom.6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus says: Matt.19:29 And every one who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. Luke.14:28 For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?[33] So therefore, whoever of you does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple. 9. On what is honorable among men: Paul says: 2Cor.8:21 for we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord's sight but also in the sight of men. Rom.12:17 Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all men. Rom.14:18 he who thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. 1Cor.10:33 just as I try to please all men in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved. Jesus says: Luke.16:15 But he said to them, You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts; for what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God. Luke.6:26 Woe to you, when all men speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets. 10. On Dying: Paul says: I Corinthians 15:31: I protest, brethren, by my pride in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die every day! Jesus says: John 11:26: and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. 11. On the basis of judgment: Paul says: Rom.2:12 All who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. Jesus says: John.12:48 He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day. 12.On the commandments and eternal life Paul says: Rom.7:9 I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died; [10] the very commandment which promised life proved to be death to me. Jesus says: Matt.19:17 And he said to him, Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments. 13. On your father: Paul says: 1Cor.4:15 For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have manyfathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel. Phlm.1:10 I appeal to you for my child, Ones'imus, whose father I have become in my imprisonment. Jesus says: Matt.23:9 And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. 14. On qualifying for eternal life: Paul says: Rom.5:21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus says: John.5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. when it comes to the teachings of Jesus and Paul. They are similar but distinct.
For Christianity to be true, only one need thing need be true - that Christ died and was then subsequently resurrected. I suggest that you acquaint yourself with the details, as there are people who were atheists who engaged with the evidence with the intention of disproving the resurrection...and instead subsequently converted to Christianity. Do not be under any illusions that the current generation is any wiser than its predecessors. In fact, there are strong grounds for believing that it is fact considerably stupider and more 'dumbed down'.

Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Deuteronomy 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken. Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (70 AD). Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Zechariah 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Psalm 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. And several others. Jesus Christ fulfilled all of these prophesies.

Definitely Paul was a Herodian. Luke says Paul was educated alongside Herod the Tetrarch. Herod was educated in Rome and was besties with Drusus and Claudius.
Paul’s writings in the New Testament do not explicitly articulate the doctrine of the Trinity as it would later be formalized by the Church. However, his letters provide the theological foundation that Christians have used to support the doctrine. Key Points from Paul’s Writings: 1. Jesus as Divine: Paul frequently refers to Jesus as sharing in the nature and authority of God. For instance: • Philippians 2:6-11 describes Jesus as being in the “form of God,” yet humbling Himself and being exalted to a position where “every knee shall bow.” • Colossians 1:15-20 calls Jesus “the image of the invisible God” and states that “in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.” 2. The Holy Spirit as Divine: Paul also attributes divinity to the Holy Spirit, seeing the Spirit as active in the life of believers and the Church: • 1 Corinthians 3:16 identifies the Spirit as God’s presence dwelling in believers. • Romans 8:11 describes the Spirit as having the power to give life, paralleling God’s creative role. 3. God the Father: Paul often refers to “God the Father” as the source of all creation and salvation, distinguishing Him from the Son and Spirit but still presenting a unified divine purpose (e.g., Ephesians 4:4-6). 4. Triadic Formulations: In several passages, Paul uses language that includes the Father, the Son, and the Spirit in a coordinated way: • 2 Corinthians 13:14: “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” • Ephesians 1:3-14 outlines salvation as a work of the Father, Son, and Spirit. Conclusion: Paul does not explicitly teach the fully developed doctrine of the Trinity as later defined by the Church in the 4th century (e.g., at the Councils of Nicaea and Constantinople). However, his writings express a clear understanding of the Father, Son, and Spirit as distinct yet fully participating in the divine nature and work. These ideas laid the groundwork for the Trinitarian theology that emerged in the early Church.
Jesus established christianity not St. Paul. He was a persicuter of the church at the beginning and latter by the grace of God he contributed so much to the Kingdom of God.

*A former Xtian writes regarding Xtian apologetics:* With respect, this is how Christians almost always answer…by simply reciting Christian doctrine or New Testament verses, as though the rest of us all agree those are valid data sources. You’ve probably been told those “facts” about Paul for as long as you’ve been a believer, as I once was. But if you look at the world with Christianity glasses on, everything you see will validate your preconceived beliefs, that is unless you consider that your glasses might be distorting the truth. For example, in a book called The Mythmaker: Paul and the Invention of Christianity, the (Jewish) author Hyam MacCoby goes into great detail about the distinctions between the Pharisees and Sadducees, and how Paul’s claims to have been a Pharisee stretch the limits of credulity for a variety of reasons, not least of which being his clear lack of familiarity with the Hebrew language, as displayed in numerous mistranslated citations of Tanach. But if everything you learn about Paul comes from Christian sources, you’ll never encounter those contrary data points. But apart from that, what always puzzled me as a Christian, was why would God go through all of the painstaking trouble (literally) to become a human man, hand selecting 12 disciples to spend every waking hour with him for a period of a few years of his earthly mission, teaching them everything he could in preparation for carrying on his mission, only to then pivot to appointing another guy (Paul) to essentially take the reigns of spreading his message who he NEVER EVEN MET while he was here on earth. And isn’t it just a wee bit suspicious that NOBODY else was around when Paul had his encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus? Who else has reported similar solo encounters with the divine? Let’s see…well Mohammad and Joseph Smith both come to mind. But of course, Christians are the first ones to cast doubt on the truth claims of both of those men. At the end of the day, I’m convinced that most Christian’s are petrified of even momentarily contemplating the most minuscule iota of doubt about their faith, because they fear being cast into Hell for not believing the right things about Jesus. And I don’t say that to make light of it because it was a real struggle for me for many years too, until I realized I just couldn’t live as a fraud any longer and pretend to believe the labyrinth of distortions and obvious contradictions that Christian doctrine promotes.
Paul also claims his teacher was Gamliel who went on record to say that the christians should be left alone. So, either Paul’s teacher wasn’t Gamliel or he didn’t think much of his opinion. Furthermore, Damascus was under direct Roman rule, certainly not Jewish rule. The Pharisees had little control over their own territory, what authority did they have in Damascus? The Romans would have never allowed unrest by Jews arresting christians in their territory.
The strongest evidence that I can offer skeptics and truthseekers is the resilience of the Disciples (and Paul) in the face of certain persecution and death after Jesus's Resurrection. People don't often hold on to lies with nothing to gain but misery, but not one of them recanted.
Paul encountered Yeshua on the road to Damascus and was temporarily blinded by an incredible light. Yeshua said, “Saul why do you persecute me?” Remember that Paul a/k/a Saul of Tarsus was a member of the San Hedrin and one of the staunchest persecutors of Christians. After that fateful meeting on the road to Damascus, Paul became Yeshua’s greatest apostle and was ultimately martyred for his faith. So the conclusion that Rabbi Tovia is making here is completely antithetical to history and the Gospel. Why would Paul do such an about face and give his life willingly for a fairytale? Why would the other Apostles? To say that Christianity is to Judaism as what Mormonism is to Christianity is absurd. The first followers of Yeshua were Jews. The promised Messiah was Jewish; Yeshua is Jewish. Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism was an American Gentile. Where is the biblical foundation of Mormonism? In the first century there were many streams of Judaism: Essenes, Followers of Yeshua (The Way), Pharisees, Saducees, and Zealots, etc. But, they were all Jews, descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Saducees did not believe the entirety of the Tanakh, rejecting the Prophets and miracles. Yet, the Saducees had dominion over the Temple as the Priestly class. So were the Saducees the heretical Mormons of Judaism in the first century? It is no wonder why the Priests handed Yeshua over to the Romans to have him crucified. They were corrupt and ignored the Word of G-d. We can still see many streams of Judaism today. Just sit in a Yeshiva and listen to the debate amongst the students and the Rabbis. Everyone has a point of view, but only one answer is correct and that is Yeshua, the fulfillment of the Torah! “Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way. When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are those who put their trust in Him.” Psalms/ Tehillim 2:12
I once also thought that is a good and valid argument, that some claim might as well be true if someone is willing to die for that truth. After years working as a a lawyer I came to the realization that a lot of (hurt) people are willing to fight (and die figuratively) to absolute proofen nonsense resulting just out of pride and the felt need to be always right. I guess Paul was one of those fellows who ran into so new philosophy, had a remarkable carrer and sense of purpose and a stream of income and no familiy responsibilities to better stop this waste of time he was practicing. After reading Rabbi Tovia Singers books and checking this with the bible, I am pretty sure, that christianity is not the whole truth., I'm afraid. And I am curious to know where do got the notion, that if rabbis or yeshiva students discuss, that only one answer can be true?
So let me get this straight: you are arguing that Paul willingly submitted himself to being shipwrecked, nearly drowning, beaten, imprisoned several times to sit in his own excrement, social ostracism, the loss of his position on the San Hedrin, trekking by foot thousands of miles through Turkey, Greece, making his way to Rome itself, penning 13 books of the New Testament, and beheading because of pride? Where was the benefit to Paul? It is one thing to die for a cause but to willingly submit to torture and execution ratchets up the matter entirely to a new level of intense sincerity. St. Lawrence was roasted on an iron grill because he preferred to give the church funds to the poor rather than hand them over to the Roman Prefect. Peter requested to be crucified upside down because he did not consider himself worthy to die in the manner of our Lord. Crucifixion was the most barbarous and ignominious form of execution, designed to prolong the suffering for the victim. Some had their genitals nailed to the cross. All were scourged, stripped naked prior to the nailing. Many of Yeshua’s Apostles suffered the cross. All they had to was recant to save their lives. If more than one answer is correct regarding our divine Creator, then we are calling God a liar and spitting on his word. Does math have more than one answer? If a person born male “transitions” to female did that individual erase his XY chromosomes, the signature of his Creator? There is only one objective truth, like gravity on earth. The way, the truth, and the life is in the Messiah.
The book Creating Christ and several other books present a pretty interesting case for Christianity being a Roman (Greco-Roman) creation designed to blunt Jewish messianic apocalypticism. One is reluctant to add conspiracy to any theory, but in this case it seems the most straightforward explanation.
So Paul intentionally left a good life to freely choose a life of suffering and ultimately be beheaded for a Christ he never encountered? Suffering that brought about the following: “If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.” 1 Corinthians 15:19 ESV No, he was divinely chosen: “But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem. And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.” But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.” Acts 9:13-16
Absolutely, Paul invented Christianity... most especially the false doctrine of "Jesus" as Savior who paid for all our sins... the doctrine that made Christianity a worldwide religion. However, this was only after the false 12 "apostles" first got the ball rolling by inventing the doctrine of "Jesus" as the prophesied Davidic Messiah who would soon return to fulfill all the Messianic Conquest prophecies... something, however, that appealed only to the Jews and thus limited its reach to only their people. Paul, who was far more ambitious and treacherous, simply took this foundational false doctrine... and expanded on it making "Jesus" the only way back to "heaven" for everyone so as to fool and conquer the entire world.
The twelve apostles are questionable. Just like the jeebus was a parallel to Moses the twelve apostles are supposed to parallel the twelve tribes... take it all with a grain of salt.
_"James the Just"_ is the historical character who exhibits the most in common with "the Teacher of Righteousness" pictured in the Dead Sea scrolls found in Qumran.
I think a significant part of Paul winning out was simply that the non-Pauline groups were opposed to Rome and were either eliminated (or close to it) during the revolt. They were never able to rebuild their numbers & influence.
Ok bud, the same can be said about rabbanic judaism that won over the other beliefs at the time like the samaritans, etc. In fact, the talmud wasnt even written until the 6th century LOL
The apostle Paul had an encounter with Hashem. He went from persecuting Christians to being the apostle that pushed Christianity across the globe. He's got a special place in heaven. Most of you who are criticising him have never even studied the bible for yourselves. Crazy stuff.
@spudmcdougal369 what is nonsensical about it? How is atonement for sin achieved in Judaism. Please answer this question using Tanakh, not your assumptions
Paul is how born again believers find God themselves.. through the Spirit and direct revelation that is not of no human being. One must be born again of the Spirit to see the Kingdom of God John 3v3. It’s how billions of people have found thy God over the time since the 2nd temple was brought down low and so one now goes up to meet thy God through the Spirit of Christ Jesus, who will lead you to the heart of God and it will be a direct divine revelation.. once you know, you know.

"Creating Christ" (which is both a book and a film documentary) argues that Christianity was essentially invented by the Flavian Dynasty of Roman Emperors circa 60-80AD as a means of pacifying insurrectionist Jews and convincing them to accept Roman rule. It makes a lot of sense and they have what seems to be some compelling evidence. It also explains the ridiculous and frequent defenses of the Roman empire, instructions to pay taxes, etc. that stick out like a sore thumb in the Gospels. The Nicene Council in 325 CE was clearly a significant step toward the establishment of the modern church, but I don't think it was the starting point of the scam. It seems people were knowingly lying long before then. Fascinating that the Roman empire itself may have been behind the creation of Christianity (obviously this is the opposite of the "persecution" narrative that was popularized for millenia).
Shalom. I'm familiar with that book, but sadly haven't found time to read it yet. But, I definitely will be changing that (on both ends for the film and book) soon enough.
I think the more appropriate answer to the question of who's authority made Christianity as we know it today (not all Christians especially back then believed in a trinity) it would have to be the Roman emperor Constantine.
The thing with the simulation is that you are never supposed to get exhausted with life. Most people never do. If you are so lucky that you understand that it is not your own fault, instead of conforming, you act in a way that forces everything else to conform to you. To every silver lining, there is a dark cloud, and vice versa, but if you just pretend you're doing something instead of pretending you are waiting for something, you're on the right track.
I love your comment, "Paul was a very big fan of Paul" lol. He is a liar (Romans 3:7) and an enemy of Hashem. 7 out of 10 times, he misquotes the Tanak, yet no christians even notice this.
Paul was one of the few Jews who was really the light to the world that Rabbi Tovia talks about a Jew being. You see, most of modern political system and equality for all is from the Torah and the Christians Jews brought about that change, not the traditional Jews !!! To this day Jews cannot tell idol worshippers and animal worshippers they are wrong.
Saul the persecutor / con-man. Used to work for the bad guys, now runs the show for the good guys. Nothing sketchy at all going on here. See you Sunday, bring your money! All you have to do is believe, not what scripture says! Paul.
Quran: Chapter 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran) 3:65 "O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until long after him? Do you not understand?" 3:66 "Here you are! You disputed about what you have ˹little˺ knowledge of, but why do you now argue about what you have no knowledge of? Allah knows and you do not know." 3:67 "Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian; he submitted in all uprightness and was not a polytheist."
Poor Paul ! Why no one shows mercy for Paul !? He was weak, epileptic and schizophrenic ! He just needed extensive care , The poor Paul just broke my heart !
He was schizophrenic despite showing none of the commonly accepted signs of schizophrenia? In any case, you are aware of how arbitrary and subjective psychological assessment and diagnoses actually are, aren't you?
Paul manipulated the romans. He got some guest treatment instead of being treated as a cult leader against the Jewish Faith ✡️. Blessed be The God of Jewish Faith Hashem ✡️.
Will your Messiah drain the oceans and place the waters above the dome of the sky? Will he put an end to earthquakes and droughts? There will be no more diseases? I have decided to put an end to all mortals on earth (Gen 6:13 NABO) Your covenant with death shall be canceled (Isa 28:18 NABO) he will destroy death forever (Isa 25:8 NABO)
Yaakov and Shimon agreed (Acts): Those of the nations should strive for righteousness like Noach who was not circumcised and like Abraham who entered the land and cut the covenant with God before his circumcision.
He did not win. His motivation was to persuade numerous Jews to his point of view. He converted Greek speakers. The non-Jews took over. They believed in resurrection.

@PirantoPiranto-eu8zg Christianity changed so much and adopted way too many idolatrous and pagan beliefs contrary to what The One True Creator G_d actually said. No Hebrew/Jew was ever named Jesus, nor John, nor especially James. There is no letter J in the Hebrew alephbet, nor does any of the Hebrew letters even make a J sound.
*The gospels' jeezer is a mixture of many things... IT is a composite.* *The character is a stencil tool of typology* *a cartoon avatar for Titus Flavius *a hybridized multinational demigod *a composite of a few historic Jewish rebel leaders (one of which was crucified) *Eleazar ben Simon **Also a figure belonging to the James sect that violently opposed the hellenized and corrupt temple priests and establishment under Herodian client king rule....*
If you minus paul and his ideas sandwiched between Judaism and islam, then these two religions (Judaism and islam) are very much alike and seems like continuation of revelations from one true god the creator.
Jesus is Lord, because he successfully turned the tables on the simulation. No one else had even tried to do it before him. Everyone else was always busy playing a video game without a story. Jesus showed that - even in a game without a story - there can be a story, if you truly believe in yourself.
I don't read the Bible as though it is a record of historical events. Adam, the only unique Son of God, wields the fiery sword on the day of vengeance as judgment, setting up the abomination of desolation in himself as the temple without one stone left standing upon another. You, O king, are the king of kings; to you the God of heaven has given dominion and strength, power and glory; men, wild beasts, and birds of the air, wherever they may dwell, he has handed over to you, making you ruler over them all (Dan 2:37-38 NABO) How have you fallen from the heavens, O morning star, son of the dawn! How are you cut down to the ground, you who mowed down the nations! You said in your heart: "I will scale the heavens; Above the stars of God I will set up my throne; I will take my seat on the Mount of Assembly, in the recesses of the North. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will be like the Most High!" Yet down to the nether world you go to the recesses of the pit! (Isa 14:12-15 NABO) Cut down the tree and lop off its branches, strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit; let the beasts flee its shade, and the birds its branches. But leave in the earth its stump and roots, fettered with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field. Let him be bathed with the dew of heaven; his lot be to eat, among beasts, the grass of the earth. (Dan 4:11-12 NABO) May God give to you of the dew of the heavens And of the fertility of the earth abundance of grain and wine. (Gen 27:28 NABO) The sky over your heads will be like bronze and the earth under your feet like iron. (Deu 28:23 NABO) In green pastures you let me graze; to safe waters you lead me (Psa 23:2 NABO) At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and my splendor returned to me. My nobles and lords sought me out; I was restored to my kingdom, and became much greater than before. (Dan 4:33 NABO) Is not my house firm before God? He has made an eternal covenant with me, set forth in detail and secured. Will he not bring to fruition all my salvation and my every desire? (2Sa 23:5 NABO) As I watched, Thrones were set up and the Ancient One took his throne. (Dan 7:9 NABO)
The concept of a high God El Elyon-Akatriel with 70 sons representing the nations of the world with Israel's representative YHVH-Metatron being chosen (in the sense of being set apart) was not Greco-Roman.
Thank you rabbi tovia singer, and thank you to all who call in and comment, ultimately the truth of whom God is, how to worship, pray, and praise God, is what matters! ... all can read the first verse of the holy bible! And if these leaders twist the first verse then why allow them to teach any other verses?... ( in the beginning God created heaven and earth! Genesis 1:1...) orthodox judiasm teaches how to have a sincere relationship with God who created heaven and earth! ... while other religions give their testimonials or how their religion begin. And they give 10% tithes and offerings to those claiming to be " anointed ", while during the week the books about darwinism and world and nations heroines and holidays! Like santa clause or easter bunny? Cupid and love? ... how many commercials and conversations at work and home are about pagan gods?... now i sincerely fear and love the one true God! I know God knows everything about me! .. God knows me more then i know myself, while christians claim they know God more then God knows himself! Think of the arrogance and pride! Just go to a victory outreach church and see the many leaders and testimonials of the members! " they call it treasures out of darkness ", as they and other churches allow 5 days a week the teaching of darwinism and aethiesm!...billions of dollars or trillions of dolllars in the usa is spent to boast about people to lead others! ( the vote is giving your heart ,mind, and freedom for some other human to rule over you, and to give them leadership and security and prosperity!) Think of how the Egyptians enslaved the hebrew nation, imagine if they voted to be enslaved?... now they enslave through the education and workforce! To survive in the usa you must obey the law makers making laws and policies to rule over you and your family! Now many other nations are worst! Some men or women just take over and rule over others!... ( while the bible speaks of prophecy when the jewish Messiah will arrive and rule all nations! And whom will the jewish Messiah belong to? GOD ! AND ONLY GOD!).. the weapons and flags and laws and holidays or political views of the nations will not control the jewish Messiah! ... so wake up! Repent with urgency! Learn the holy commandments from God and obey them! Male and females shoul all humble themselves to God facing Jerusalem! Call upon the one true God to take over your life!
I believe Paul than these people who make their false assertions. Paul was with the apostles of Jesus. He died of the gospel he preached with all the apostles and that's the greatest proof of its veracity.
@samfromisrael "Paul was the L. Ron Hubbard of his days" Whatever or whoever that is. Paul had a change of heart and began to incorporate the Gentiles into the salvation plan.. And that is what pissed the Jews off. And it continues to this day. Historical records shows that the hostility towards the prophets of God began long before Paul Rabbi Tovia knows that, but choose not to talk about that.
*Isn’t it just a wee bit suspicious that NOBODY else was around when Paul had his encounter with the JeeZer apparition on the road to Damascus?* *Who else has reported similar solo encounters with the divine?* *Let’s see…well Mohammad and Joseph Smith both come to mind.* *But of course, Xians are the first ones to cast doubt on the truth claims of both of those men.*
Ephesians, as the Rabbi well knows, is psuedepigraphy. Paul likely did not write it. “While most English translations indicate that the letter was addressed to "the saints who are in Ephesus" (1:1), the words "in Ephesus" do not appear in the best and earliest manuscripts of the letter, leading most textual critics, like Bart Ehrman, to regard the words as an interpolation. This lack of any internal references to Ephesus in the early manuscripts may have led Marcion, a second-century heresiarch who created the first New Testament canon, to believe that the letter was actually addressed to the church at Laodicea. For details see Epistle to the Laodiceans” “According to the Muratorian fragment, Marcion's canon contained an epistle called the Epistle to the Laodiceans which is commonly thought to be a forgery written to conform to his own point of view. This is not at all clear, however, since none of the text survives. It is not known what this letter might have contained. Most scholars believe it was explicitly Marcionist in its outlook, hence its condemnation. Others believe it to be the Epistle to the Ephesians; the proto-Orthodox author Tertullian accuses Marcion's group of using an edited version of Ephesians which was referred to as the Epistle to the Laodiceans.” Modern scholarship on Marcionite epistles has moved in the direction of their priority, thus it is possible that Marcion had the original and that some editors altered the text for theological reasons. Marcion’s epistles relatively compared to the NT epistles, as a whole are more authentically traced to Paul. Ergo at best the Epistle to the Ephesians is a heavily edited rewrite of Paul’s original letter.
Every Angel in the Bible tells their subject "Do not be afraid". Whatever it was that attacked Muhammad in his cave did not say these words so was absolutely not an Angel. Highly likely a Jinn.
@@geoffreyk6229he healed noone He was a charlatan He never met Jesus He never studied at the feet of his disciples. Which raises the question of what was the point of Jesus' disciples, when they have zero influence
The Ebionites, in the Panarion, say Paul is a Greek. They point out he is from Tarsus, which was the origin point for Greco-Romanized Mithraism. So they are saying he is a Mithran.
What?!? How did I never notice that. That explains all of the Babylonian mystery religion stuff like xmas, Ishtar, virgin birth, resurrection, etc. I knew that it was around, but I did not know that Tarsus was a seat for Mithraism. Because of xtianity, I've become well versed in it. Well, as well versed as one can be some four thousand years from it's origin.
Jesus Christ understood that the world is a simulation in which he was supposed to stay unknowing of the supremacy of his consciousness. That is the reason why there are no direct mentions of Jesus in the Old Testament. Jesus saw through it all, decided to turn the tables on the simulation, put the simulation to the test, and ultimately was victorious after being crucified and his resurrection.
Why would Rome adopt a jewish person who is a Roman citizen and his religion, of another Jewish person, executed as a criminal and apparently rose 3 days and nights later, and that paul was against Jesus and now for him and risk his life like Jesus disciples and spread lies all through the empire which would had been welcome but was it, paul was reaching for jews first not gentiles, then gentiles. And why would he reach for gentle at all when they were outside the house of Israel and had no burdens of GOD'S LAWS upon them. Logic and common since. Rome nor.Paul created Christianity, they were called that while be killed by nero caesar, so they and Jesus and paul all existed,. And what I understand is God is not a man.......But........ GOD HIMSELF SAID......... I WILL BE THAT I WILL BE..... who are we as humans to bottle him up to what we want HIM to be........ that is idolatry in it's own right........ GOD can save, God is savior, and GOD CAN SAVE THROUGH OTHERS, BUT NOT JESUS. that is bias in it's own right. GOD SAVES THROUGH WHOM EVER HE WISHES, THROUGH GENTILES AND JEWS ALIKE....
_The more the missionaries try, the more the Jews will be forced to learn the full truth about_ *GayZeus and Xtianity* *WATCH CAESAR'S MESSIAH & CREATING CHRIST*
Xtianity did not really begin as a religion, but a sophisticated government project, a kind of propaganda exercise used to pacify the subjects of the Roman Empire. Jewish sects in Israel at the time, who were waiting for a prophesied warrior Messiah, were a constant source of violent insurrection during the first century. When the Romans had exhausted conventional means of quashing rebellion, they switched to psychological warfare. They surmised that the way to stop the spread of zealous Jewish missionary activity was to create a competing belief system. That's when the 'peaceful' Messiah story was invented. Instead of inspiring warfare, this Messiah urged turn-the-other-cheek pacifism and encouraged Jews to 'give onto Caesar' and pay their taxes to Rome.
I was reading that Jesus chose the cross. Then I remembered the Jews killed him. Then I remembered God gave his only son. Too bad his days weren't prolonged that he would see his offspring and fullfill scripture. Cool story though.
You guys know little. Shaūl (Paul) had nothing in common with what the churches of later centuries (quite early actually) have made of him. At what age was Abraham commanded to be circumcised?
Question:is there anything in the torah that replicate that incident in the Quran:2:93 And [recall] when We took your covenant and raised over you the mount, [saying], "Take what We have given you with determination and listen." They said [instead], "We hear and disobey." And their hearts absorbed [the worship of] the calf because of their disbelief. Say, "How wretched is that which your faith enjoins upon you, if you should be believers."
@samfromisrael " A liar conman" And you know the reason why he said those things. But you choose to ignore.. The bottom line the hatred is not with Paul, who is dead and gone.. The hatred is with the Gentiles.. Furthermore the relationship with all the prophets of God was not a cordial one.. This hostility began long, long ago before Paul Its just hard to get rid of the hatred..To some IMPOSSIBLE And you most trusted Rabbi here is just feeding into that animosity
Thanks!
Congratulations to the guy in the beginning who became a Noahide ❤
Baruch HaShem! Another soul saved!
Thanks that was me
I've recently became a Noahide myself.

5:39). The Flavian Theory, therefore, not only presents a coherent argument for the literary origins of Jesus, but also highlights the Romans' ability to use religion as a tool of sociopolitical control._*
*_Some of the most enigmatic passages found in the gospels are more easily understood when seen through the eyes of a general speaking to his legions._*

@@sammydasilva6152false. He was duplicitous in his mission to gain their confidence and admittedly so.

@@sammydasilva6152interesting claim but can you explain Paul and Peter had a heated argument over Peter's behavior towards Gentile believers, which is recorded in Galatians 2:11-19
Peter initially ate with Gentile believers, but stopped when friends of James arrived and he was afraid of their criticism
Paul confronted Peter, calling his behavior hypocritical and saying, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew". Paul was angry that Peter was perverting the gospel by separating Jews from Gentiles
The Jewish Christians in Antioch sided with Peter, including Paul's friend Barnabas
Teaches that justification is by faith, apart from works of the law. For example, in Romans 3:28, Paul says, "A person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law".
Teaches that a person is justified by works, and not by faith alone. For example, in James 2:24, James says, "You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone"
James uses "works" to describe moral deeds that flow from a healthy Christ-follower, while Paul uses it to refer to specific works of the law.
And Paul attacks the followers of James and Peter in his letters
Paul says, "You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified" in Galatians 3:1
1 Corinthians 2:2, where Paul states, "For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified."
Paul as you can see disagreed on the teachings of the disciples also he disagrees with Jesus a lot
@@sammydasilva6152 for example here are some of the contradictions
1. On the time of the coming of the Lord:
Paul says:
Rom.13:12
the night is far gone, the day is at hand.
Jesus says:
Luke.21:8
Take heed that you are not led astray; for many will come in my name,
saying, . . . `The time is at hand!' Do not go after them.
2. On the source of the Truth and the true gospel:
Paul says:
1Cor.2:13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit.
Gal.1:12 For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
Jesus says:
John.17:14 I have given them thy word;
Sanctify them in the truth; thy word is truth.
3. On the God of the dead:
Paul says:
Rom.14:9 For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
Jesus says:
Luke.20:38 Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living;
4. On the sum of the commandments:
Paul says:
Rom.13:9 The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and any other commandment, are summed up in this sentence, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Jesus says:
Matt.22:37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. [38] This is the great and first commandment. [39] And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
[40] On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.
5. On whom God has mercy:
Paul says:
Rom.9:15 For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."
[16] So it depends not upon man's will or exertion, but upon God's mercy.
[18] So then he has mercy upon whomever he wills, and he hardens the heart of whomever he wills.
Jesus says:
Matt.5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
6. On forgiveness of trespasses:
Paul says:
Eph.1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of ourtrespasses, according to the riches of his grace
Rom.4:25 who was put to death for our trespasses and raised for our justification.
Jesus says:
Matt.6:14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father also willforgive you; [15] but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Fatherforgive your trespasses
7. On being justified:
Paul says:
Rom.3:24 they are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,[28] For we hold that a man is justified by faith apart from works of law.
Rom.5:9 Since, therefore, we are now justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
Jesus says:
Matt.12:37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
8. On the cost of eternal life:
Paul says:
Rom.6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Jesus says:
Matt.19:29 And every one who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.
Luke.14:28 For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?[33] So therefore, whoever of you does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple.
9. On what is honorable among men:
Paul says:
2Cor.8:21 for we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord's sight but also in the sight of men.
Jesus says:
Luke.16:15 But he said to them, You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts; for what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
Luke.6:26 Woe to you, when all men speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.
10. On Dying:
Paul says:
I Corinthians 15:31: I protest, brethren, by my pride in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die every day!
Jesus says:
John 11:26: and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.
11. On the basis of judgment:
Paul says:
Rom.2:12 All who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.
Jesus says:
John.12:48 He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day.
12.On the commandments and eternal life
Paul says:
Rom.7:9 I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died; [10] the very commandment which promised life proved to be death to me.

Jesus says:
Matt.23:9 And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.

Paul says:
Rom.5:21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Jesus says:

The lies of 2000 years can no longer be covered up. They occified, true...
But we have outlived those atrophied worn out lies.
Exactly!
For Christianity to be true, only one need thing need be true - that Christ died and was then subsequently resurrected. I suggest that you acquaint yourself with the details, as there are people who were atheists who engaged with the evidence with the intention of disproving the resurrection...and instead subsequently converted to Christianity.

Mark this well, you don't know your Hebrew Bible - where He's prophesied in several books. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Paul’s writings in the New Testament do not explicitly articulate the doctrine of the Trinity as it would later be formalized by the Church. However, his letters provide the theological foundation that Christians have used to support the doctrine.
Key Points from Paul’s Writings:
1. Jesus as Divine: Paul frequently refers to Jesus as sharing in the nature and authority of God. For instance:
• Philippians 2:6-11 describes Jesus as being in the “form of God,” yet humbling Himself and being exalted to a position where “every knee shall bow.”
• Colossians 1:15-20 calls Jesus “the image of the invisible God” and states that “in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.”
2. The Holy Spirit as Divine: Paul also attributes divinity to the Holy Spirit, seeing the Spirit as active in the life of believers and the Church:
• 1 Corinthians 3:16 identifies the Spirit as God’s presence dwelling in believers.
4. Triadic Formulations: In several passages, Paul uses language that includes the Father, the Son, and the Spirit in a coordinated way:
• 2 Corinthians 13:14: “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”
• Ephesians 1:3-14 outlines salvation as a work of the Father, Son, and Spirit.
Conclusion:
Paul does not explicitly teach the fully developed doctrine of the Trinity as later defined by the Church in the 4th century (e.g., at the Councils of Nicaea and Constantinople). However, his writings express a clear understanding of the Father, Son, and Spirit as distinct yet fully participating in the divine nature and work. These ideas laid the groundwork for the Trinitarian theology that emerged in the early Church.
Nicely put, and a solid response against the false claim by TS.

*A former Xtian writes regarding Xtian apologetics:*
With respect, this is how Christians almost always answer…by simply reciting Christian doctrine or New Testament verses, as though the rest of us all agree those are valid data sources.
Excellent post!

Acts 9 says Paul had travel companions on the Damascus road.
I whole heartedly agree and relate
The strongest evidence that I can offer skeptics and truthseekers is the resilience of the Disciples (and Paul) in the face of certain persecution and death after Jesus's Resurrection. People don't often hold on to lies with nothing to gain but misery, but not one of them recanted.
Once you know the truth.. it will set you free from the bondage of sin and isn’t Sin what keeps one from God anyways?
Paul met Jesus on the road to Damascus actually.
Jesus handed him the stick baton
That it does..
Blunting is the correct word to use. But after 2000 years of lies they have now blunted the jeebus hammer and they are helpless and hopeless now.

So Paul intentionally left a good life to freely choose a life of suffering and ultimately be beheaded for a Christ he never encountered?
Suffering that brought about the following: “If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.”
1 Corinthians 15:19 ESV
No, he was divinely chosen:
“But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem. And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.” But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.”
Acts 9:13-16

The LDS have more in Common with Jews they were persecuted and chased away to the promised land of Utah
I love the Torah because of Shaūl and because of Yeshuah. They kept the Law. It is the best law of all nations that ever existed.
St. Paul was chosen by Christ and met him in Acts 9. Paul also met and knew Peter, James, and John. See Galatians 1 and 2.
@samfromisrael "Paul was the L. Ron Hubbard of his days" Whatever or whoever that is.
Paul had a change of heart and began to incorporate the Gentiles into the salvation plan.. And that is what pissed the Jews off. And it continues to this day.
Historical records shows that the hostility towards the prophets of God began long before Paul
Rabbi Tovia knows that, but choose not to talk about that.
Paul said he is a jew, and then he said he is a roman. A liar conman.
*Isn’t it just a wee bit suspicious that NOBODY else was around when Paul had his encounter with the JeeZer apparition on the road to Damascus?*
*Who else has reported similar solo encounters with the divine?*
*Let’s see…well Mohammad and Joseph Smith both come to mind.*
*But of course, Xians are the first ones to cast doubt on the truth claims of both of those men.*

For details see Epistle to the Laodiceans”
“According to the Muratorian fragment, Marcion's canon contained an epistle called the Epistle to the Laodiceans which is commonly thought to be a forgery written to conform to his own point of view. This is not at all clear, however, since none of the text survives. It is not known what this letter might have contained. Most scholars believe it was explicitly Marcionist in its outlook, hence its condemnation.
Others believe it to be the Epistle to the Ephesians; the proto-Orthodox author Tertullian accuses Marcion's group of using an edited version of Ephesians which was referred to as the Epistle to the Laodiceans.”
Modern scholarship on Marcionite epistles has moved in the direction of their priority, thus it is possible that Marcion had the original and that some editors altered the text for theological reasons.

The Ebionites, in the Panarion, say Paul is a Greek. They point out he is from Tarsus, which was the origin point for Greco-Romanized Mithraism. So they are saying he is a Mithran.
Very likely the case, but he was also a Herodian family member.

Jewish rebel leaders identities were lifted and recreated to write the synoptic gospels.
This hostility began long, long ago before Paul
Its just hard to get rid of the hatred..To some IMPOSSIBLE And you most trusted Rabbi here is just feeding into that animosity
Basically, because the Roman Empire.
