Brilliant.... After all of these years and have witnessed many types of techniques ...tools and strategies... This one is the most effective and the most convincing..... Well done Brother.... Out if all who have tried.... I believe you have found the key..... Much Respect from St Petersburg Florida..... Oh yeah.... I've been following you for years... And thank you for your time knowledge and dedication... it has helped me in my trials and tribulations with flintknapping.... Again Thank You....
😄 I had the idea of trying that myself but I couldn't get my hands on an antler. I'm glad you posted it so now I'm surely going to have to find one. I was thinking of making an arched piece that fit under the leg like that which could be fitted with a variety of tips and quickly swapped out. I will post it once I get one made.
I wish I could get my hands on an Antler like that. I can never seem to drive flakes across the piece… I need to try indirect percussion maybe. I seen a longer stick with copper nail on the end do you think that will help thin down biscuits?
Incredible technique. I love that. Never seen it before
Never seen this method before, will be sure to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
I'm trying this when I get off work. Genius idea. I never would have thought of it.
