Ok. To complete you will must buy: Painting can, servo, battery NIMH or Lipo 2S (5600mAh you will find this easy on Amazon) and radio transmitter/receiver (I like Dumbo RC, it’s affordable, around 30$ bucks). That is it.
Man I was thinking to buy this as my very first kit as. Hobby but the fact I have to paint it makes it difficult (got no place to paint it at home, small apartment with 2 pets) but maybe I'll sort it out someday. Great looking model tho!
a good tip for painting job in small place is: box (like amazon or walmart), put the body inside and paint in the parking lot... after this put to dry in the bathroom (turn on the exaust)... I used this method about 10 years of my RC life. See you man.. cheers
911 Carrera 4 and Carrera 4s is all-wheel drive. Targa only is available in all-wheel. In the real world 🤣👍🏻 www.porsche.com/usa/accessoriesandservices/classic/models/997/997-4/
I used Bittydesign liquid masking before painting. After, I cut the mask and I painted black. I waited dry and peel of the masking and painted blue. 👍🏻
I love that they finally made a modern-day Porsche body . But they needed to give it bigger rims in the back and wider rims to in rear they should have made a new chassis made-it rear-wheel-drive and if I had that car I would be putting the fastest brushless system in it because it is Porsche and if they would have made it through rear-wheel drive chassis for they should make a slipper clutch for it also to make sure it has and it was if it was possible they should have given it rear steer like it is in the real car but I don't know how they would mechanize that in that chassis. It was a turbo s one they could have left it four-wheel drive but still made a mechanism to give it four-wheel steer like the real cars.
Buy the kit, but do not buy only the body to fit an ordinary TT02. This 911 is 251mm wheelbase and with an extra long body, you need to fit with a long bumper. This body not fits the type-S and type-SRX
if you buy an TT02 type S or SR or SRX, these kits are not allowed to change the wheelbase, so dont buy the 911 body but buy the whole set to avoid mis-match@@pangarerc

If I buy shark blue water based automotive paint to make sure the color is spot on - will this work on the clear plastic gt3 body?
I dunno, I strongly recommend you to use tamiya ps paint.
I bought this for someone, what else does i need for it to be completed and what control do you guys recommend?

@@pangarerc thanks for that idea! I’ll just make sure to spray it near a window
AMain sells the kit with a Blue painted Body for 142.99$ Looks Great!
Nossa que legal, ele vem com o ESC WP1040 ?

what did you use for the spray mask for the body?
LVLP air gun (40 psi).
Short wheel base
And
Rear wheel required offset 5mm
Otherwise it doesn't look like 911

質問失礼します。このブルー塗る前の黒は、どのように塗っているんですか?

The Tamiya paint ps-30 is not actually the official shark blue color that porsche uses on their cars -
Este auto modelo ja vem pronto ?
Nao, tem q montar inteiro. Igual fiz no video. Pintar e adesivar tb
@@pangarerc gostaria muito de adquirir um auto modelo , mas não intendo nada

this body fit on qq TT02. You just need to change the position of the suspension arms. The manual explains how to do it.
