Strictly Come Dancing Celebrates 20 Years Since Waltzing On Our Screens | This Morning

On this exact day back in 2004, we waltzed into the Strictly Ballroom for the very first time. In the 20 years which followed, the show hasn’t just brightened up our Saturday nights, it’s also changed the lives of those who’ve graced that iconic dancefloor. Today we’re joined by professional dancer Brendan Cole, who became a household name after winning the first-ever series. He’s here alongside fellow dancer Pasha Kovalev who found fame through the show and his wife Rachel Riley! The couple tell us about finding love on the dancefloor and welcoming two Strictly babies. And we’re also joined by former contestant Debbie McGee, who says the show saved her after losing her beloved husband Pau

Brendan Cole was the best professorial dancer, on this show. Just like Bruce and Len, two gentlemen sadly missed 😢 🙏 rip. Not the Same 😢

Winnie Wallace...I love Strictly...Rose and Giovanni's win was wonderful... Look at Pasha and Rachel, how happy they are and Debbie who rocked the dance floor. Couldn't understand why they dropped Brendan,but it's great to see them celebrating its twenty years anniversary. So let's " Keep dancing"...

I’ve loved watching dancing from being a child. From Fred Astaire Gene Kelly I was allowed to stay up to watch Come dancing my parents were beautiful dancers loved ti watch them and then 20 years of strictly and Brendan of hiw many years he was there. ❤
