This show is amazing and is one of the few current shows that actually makes me cry not because it's outright SAD but because it's so damn emotional. Also SPOILER!!!!! Deadpan is a very hard archetype to work with, especially as an inexperienced voice actor. Plus Rebecca Sugar's song style just doesn't gel well with Estelle's voice in my opinion. Hers are usually slower and light on the backing tracks, while Estelle's songs (of the few I've heard) are fast, bombastic, and she uses a wider range of singing to complement them. Deadpan is a very hard archetype to work with, especially as an inexperienced voice actor. Plus Rebecca Sugar's song style just doesn't gel well with Estelle's voice in my opinion. Hers are usually slower and light on the backing tracks, while Estelle's songs (of the few I've heard) are fast, bombastic, and she uses a wider range of singing to complement them.
