Just look up a 808 slide tutorial its realy super easy.
Just use a sine wave with 1 voice and glide. Saturate/fm modulate to give it colour and adjust the pitch envelope for the attack
Make your own 808s as opposed to using sampled ones and you can up some attack to make it smoother, but if you need that slighting effect some portamento really helps.
