Ive noticed the same girls in the background in many PBA videos..I wonder if they'r relatives or groupies lol... particularly the girl in the white pants/blue jacket...she's in that spot in many videos from different tournaments.
Cooper Gates it became a bit of a theme song for our league bopo, though it is debated if we are supposed to have a lot of bos followed by a po or the other way around
Are these crowd people real bowling fans? Or just annoying drunks who actually don't know anything about bowling? I know the history of his bowling center and crowd, but never believed they were true bowling fans.

Monk Amani no it’s not fox. Do you guys not watch bowling? For 5 years they’ve done the pba league at bayside bowl. At bayside bowl they’re encouraged to be loud. It’s a unique environment that the pros love.

@@pamelacass9642 definitely. But as many people mention in the comments, I see the same faces every game and they are too much... diligent. I don't remember if any player commented on the noise except Simo, but I believe players don't like this atmosphere.
It's headache inducing. I hope it's not indicative of the direction televised bowling is headed. If so I'll either watch it on mute or just watch the old telecasts with respectful crowds.

I like how the crowd is getting mad on the football/basketball etc. stadium, but for me, in bowling, this is the same as if they do this during billiards game, they are almost staying on the lane with players. Bowling doesn't have the greatest reputation for most of the people, they don't perceive it serious. I don't care about them much tbh but I care about popularity and just want bowling to be higher on the sports olymp.

Round of 24 through the round of eight all were played over 8 sessions and three days. Also we are huge fans of the pba and love bowling so came down as much as possible
Is the PBA going to make a comeback? In the 1990s, if someone rolled a 300, they got 100 grand. In today's dollars, that should be 200 grand, but they get what...10k? The purses have gone down and these guys are probably rolling better scores than anyone did 20 years ago, even though the balls haven't really gotten that much better. They're better, but they were plenty snappy in the 1990s, too.
Do you know anything about bowling?!?! They are encouraged to cheer the whole time. This is the atmosphere that has been a part of Bayside Bowl. The pros also happen to love the crowd here they feed off their energy.
@@jordonschletty6423 Yeah we know plenty about bowling and trying to keep quiet so players can concentrate, unlike those who often bowl once in a blue moon beside you and make unnecessary noise that breaks one's concentration. Can't wait for normal telecasts from other centers again. Why you're defending these drunks making fools out of themselves I'm not sure.
I've only been bowling for 50 years and hold a 190 average. In the house I bowl in that sort of conduct is not acceptable. Just my opinion. @@jordonschletty6423

IMO Simonsen is a better bowler than Jesper. He is younger, can throw a back up ball consistently and can use either reactive or urethane.
