interesting on the bags . . . i just reuse the bubble mail packages from cubing stores and put them inside 1 gal ziplock bags (to keep them from slipping out) and throw it into a regular backpack . Although the YJ single and 4 cube small bags could be useful for carrying the cubes you always reach for

i have the gan back pack and its basicly the same as the moyu backpack except it has a more clean look and unser the top of the straps there is a big laptop bag pouch that has alot of padding

The small yj bag that holds 3 cubes. I got a pencil bag from daiso store I can put up to 3-6x6-cubes in it. Yes it is a pencil bag but it does the job for just bringing a few cubes with you on the go really quick. And the big pencil bag is only $1.50 with same idea and almost same shape as yj little storage bag. For a fraction of price.

If your gonna use the yj crossbody bag you can buy Velcro and glue it or stick it where you want it to be and you have more security on the front pouch

Hello Tingman, on 2:57, the timer you kept in the bag ( Qiyi Backpack ) can you give me the link from where I can get it ? I cannot find it on any online store. The timer on which "Speed Stacks" is written.
I am glad I could find you .I subscribed your channel yesterday since you are the correct person who can keep my motivation high.I am 38 yrs old. 2 weeks ago I found my cube while cleaning after it was lying hidden in closet for 11 years .I thought of doing some thing that I could not do at that time and so I ordered a GTS3 and committed to myself. Unlearning layer by layer is a huge obstacle for me could you provide some guidance on how you learned F2l and how you increased your speed.When I do it intuitively, I take too much time . Do you do it intutively or learned the cases for it too? My daughter is three years old and call the cube as -" color gift" .In the morning the first thing she does is search for the "color gift" before any thing else .Finally Thanks Bro keep it up :). I hope you could make a video on it soon. Call it my desperation :)
That’s great to hear! All the best! Learning F2L is no small task, it’s quite discouraging at the start because it really slows you down. Just keep going with intuitive F2L initially, and learn individual cases if you feel they pop up a lot, or if they seem easy to remember. Jperm’s videos on F2Ls are the best ones out there. It’s a slow process but eventually pays off!!
As tingman said, J perm has w great videos on intuitive and advamced f2l. Practice with really help you get comfortable with every case.
Between cubeskills and JPerm with whome to stick with?I watched JPerm and he says it quite a number of times to not to follow his figure tricks🤔

I learnt f2l recently when I got back into cubing, couple of months back. My average was sitting at around 55 seconds then. I got a bit faster with the beginners method, about a 45 second average at best. Then I learnt f2l from J perm. My avg immediately went up to 1:40. I practiced and practiced, and I wasn't really getting better. But I stuck at it, and I started getting the hang of it. You really have to implement it into every solve, just totally forget about layer by layer. After a month my avg was back to where it was... and I've just continued to get better. My average is now sitting at 24 seconds, as I've nearly finished learning full PLL from jperm and tingman. My pb is 16 seconds. I think that you just need to stick it out, and you'll get the hang of it! The learning curve starts off really flat, but once you get used to the main algs, and recognition, it gets steep quickly, especially once you start making up ur own algs. Good luck! (Sorry for the huge comment lol)

Thanks for the review! Unless you're bringing *only* cubes somewhere, what is the advantage of having a cube bag? It is ease of access (which is most easily accomplished if there is only one layer, but at the expense of capacity)? It is padding and protection? I'm trying to find a bag that could compartmentalize cubes, but can also fit other stuff, specifically at least a full-frame camera, a 24-70 f/2.8, a 70-200mm f/2.8, a flash, a laptop, and baby stuff (a few changes of clothes, diapers, wipes, 2 bottles, milk, and snacks).
Good questions. These bags definitely don’t meet a wide range of needs. As I mentioned some of them aren’t really bags for cubes, just bags made by cube companies. If I’m bringing camera gear around, I’d definitely opt for a proper camera bag, and try my best to fit everything else somewhere or in a separate bag. It sounds like what you need is a 100L hiking bag or something! 😂

I would choose the quyi mofang bag because im a intense reader so I would take a book to a comp and me and my dad travle a lot for comps and the bag could store my phone or book ETC. Then I live in new york and my cousins live in france and they are not cuber so I have to bring some kind of bag that fits a timer rolled up stack mat and other cubing necesities and the quyi bag has more space for the timer and everything elese.

You missed one really important thing about the Qiyi bag. It has a Velcro strap on the non-mesh side to go over and secure your puzzles.
