My wife and I have been going to TRF since 1987; good grief that makes us old! Many changes over the years; some great, others not so great. I notice many vendors have altered policies on pictures and video - likely to accommodate the content creators that can help advertise wares and services. But my gosh! prices have skyrocketed! If the King's Feast meal-and-show still includes admission to the grounds it should still be a good value, and the show is fun!
I had never heard of this. Until we visited family in BayTown Tx last month..They took us as a treat, and it was AWSOME!!! I'd go back if it wasn't a 14 to 15 hour drive..Everything was incredible!! I highly recommend everyone go atleast once..
My wife and I went there in 2006. I assume this is near Magnolia. I remember thinking the whole time we were there, "So this is where the Trekkies go when there isn't a Star Trek convention in town." On a more serious note, Houston has been expanding out that way in leaps and bounds for the past few years. How long before the property becomes too valuable to pass up a good offer from a real estate developer is anyone's guess. Hope you and your wife had a good time!
Yes, just got back, everything was nice … but provinces have gotten a little ridiculous, turkey leg used to be $8 years ago, is now $19!!!😮 I guess like everything now !😑 Still had a great time, break open both piggy banks before you come through!😂
I have been going every year since I was a baby, 40 now. My favorite place to go. Such an awesome experience every year, and never gets old.

I agree, some of the pricing is very high.

I know, a few years back a bottle of mead was $23 and now it’s $35-$37. But we only do it once a year so that’s our price for a good time. 😅

Todd Mission Texas

I’m not sure what the show is called. We were just walking by and decided to check it out. Thirsty Pirate Pub was the location.
