Yes, more German football stories like this, please! That was an amazing season, Hoffenheim were top during winter break and this was their first ever Bundesliga campaign. Wolfsburg were 8th at the time, but they were just unstoppable in the second half of the season.

In terms of the number of goals, they are the best. 54 goals were never scored by a strike duo. The second half of 2009 was a pure domination of Wolfsburg. Barzagli was a beast in the defense, Misimovic was an outstanding playmaker and these two guys were on fire all the time.
