This thead is ancient, but yeah I dug up this tune from the deep recesses of my old iTunes library from late 90s - early 2000s. Forgot how amazing this track is, and how it now perfectly into the latest 80's retro Synthwave genre that's emerging now. LOL...I think I need more neon in my life.
@@StNashable I don't know if it was the timing or the track,(or the K?, I was just back from a birthday party) but, in the midst of all the BAD news lately, this track literally (in my minds eye) took me on a happy voyage through the cosmos and cheered me up immensely at a tough time. Thank you for replying!, I wish you all the best things!.
yano as far as remixes are concerned it really doesnt get much better than this. its VERY well done and puts its own spin on the melody, which is how i like my remixes, strong, clear and not exactly the same as the original. also the visuals are so cool its like a music video. freaking nemesis. so fucking cool.
I love this remix, it's certainly in my top three remixes of thise SID (along with the ones by Marcel Donne and Aki Jarvinen's excellent metal version) Oh, and I cannot forget Reyn's fabulous Live at the Church version.
4:54 I really want to know the context of this image because it looks so damn funny. It looks like someone walked in on him while he was brooding playing his pipe organ.
Nice work! Haunting and alien, love it! Shame Hollywood ignores this kind of stuff and remakes the same dreck, it'd make for a cool movie. Also, from reading the old early 80s comic book I can see where the creators of Warhammer 40, 000 got their ideas from!
+Max Brandt The comic itself lost creative steam and wound down as it progressed. By book nine it was boring, so dark that you could barely tell what's going on, struggling desperately to reinvent itself. They made Torquemada into a stalker landlord for God's sake! I'm not saying that it would be impossible to make a good movie out of it, but maybe some things should be just left alone.
Stuff like Nemesis and 40k are too bizarre, vast and pessimistic for Hollywood standards. Hell, they are probably going to botch Jim Starlin's Infinity saga.
That's MISTER Hugh Mungus To You Haven't heard them all yet but Marcel Donne's is my favourite by far.. although this one has a retro vibe that fits in with the era of the comic.
I may be late, or you may have found it, but still, these images are from Pioneer 10 - Jupiter Odyssey by NASA. th-cam.com/video/C8njS3ARC-E/w-d-xo.html

This is by far my favourite remix of the lot as it preserves the 80s feel of the theme.

Love it! I remember the original on the C64 and while the game wasn't that great, Hubbard's music was.
this has been one of my all time favorite songs for some years now, cheers.
Pat Mills was the original angry comic book edgelord long before Warren Ellis and Garth Ennis.

Nice, it really sounds like it could've been made around the 80s besides some of the percussion.
Excellent remix of an excellent track.
Very nice video, too!

AdamWhistle1 Perhaps you are right.
Out of the first 4 books maybe. It stimulated my creativity a lot and resonated with some ideas I've wanted to explore.

Nice remix, I like the more wistful, cosmic tone you give.

Some of them are from a 70's documentary called "The Outer Space Connection" which can be found on TH-cam.
