My name is Arvind Keprate. I am a Associate Professon in a University in Norway. I have been living in Norway for the last 8 years and thought of sharing my experience of living in Norway with all the viewers of TH-cam. The videos are in Hindi and English mix.

Watched your video full. I have a few questions :
Since you accepted this full time job during your full time studies, how did u manage both? I mean, is it allowed by the University to accept a full time job and full time studies both at the same time?
2nd, does a full time job offer mean PR? Or there are certain steps to follow? And since It's already been a year into your job, did you get your PR?
3rd, is norwegian language a requirement for the PR?
4th, do they teach the kids in school in English medium or norwegian language only?

Please talk also about children schools also.... we dont have any knowledge about language and coming to study in Norway with my spouse and child.... the most worrysome part since my child is in grade 4...how will he be able to adjust in.public school where I suppose mode of communication is Norwegian only... does he gets a special course at school to learn language so that he doesn't fall behind in his class or there is some another way ?

Great, Still what was that by which how could u manage both regular classes (in a full- time course
assuming both were full - time things, ( both job and a masters programme ), means master's classes -require almost 3/4 hours at least a day even agar U can manage just by classes n least studies apart from dat, and a full time job, how you managed & timings could be divided, @same time classes every day and job/ duty per bhi jana har din
Both -regular jobs and univ. class starts at 08:00/9:00 in morning
Or, is there no need of a minimum %of requirement - attending classes (some uni have requirement of attending minimum of 75% of classes)

Pursuing a Masters or Doctors are higher studies,and both are having huge differences/gap, there's between a PhD and a M.a.
Norway is an European country, with its roots connected still, to its culture and language -(Norwegian) v strongly.
You,gotta know it's language,if you r not frm engineering or science field
and pursuing Masters or, if - PhD it's okay.

Thanks sir, very informative. Just 2 questions, must the MA course subject and job field match to be able to get that job offer? How's the Norway job market for non-engineering fields like social science or humanities?
An employer,sees a lotta things, ex.. your job exp related to role-job,ur knowledge about role/how capable you r to pull it through,ur studies(12th,m.a,b.a,in related sub) n can be more req.Most, of skilled labour r required in technicals (in job market) .
