Awesome video, folks can’t understand just how much time and money is used to make a consistent Bow! Tooling is what makes a consistent bow, you sir build a outstanding bow!
Not that I wanna see the prices go up (because I hope to get one someday) but how these things don’t cost more than they do is crazy! Amazing craftsmanship and skill goes into these bows. Truly works of art!
Hey South, good to see you shooting a stickbow. I met you on Catalina Island in 1991. I was the guy with the longbow. I enjoy your videos. Good hunting.
Beautiful functional work of art is correct. I recently found your channel. As my skills with a bow progresse I hope to one day upgrade to one of your hand crafted bows. Your passion in the field and your shop are inspiring. Thanks for taking the time to share your adventures in the mountains.
I love my wolverines. Loved the carbon longbow one so much I had to buy another in static recurve wood. I also had to get a vortex carbon recurve to add to the collection. Maybe a few more would be good 🤔🤣
Lv ur work n passion Ur brilliant sir love tht bow, i too love making bow m a beginner , i don't hv much materials n resources , wish i cud work lik u , i love primitive hunting but can't do that too , here it's not possible , life always not giv wht we wants Thxx for vedios❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I buy the bamboo in 4'x8'x3/4" thick sheets that are vertically laminated. From there, I cut them down into limb-width rips, then resaw them into the tapers, then sand them to the proper thickness. A web search will yield some suppliers. Expect to pay $250-$300 per sheet.
Absolutely beautiful bow. Thanks for the video. May I ask specifically what finish you spray on your bows? I'm looking to refinish a few older recurves Ive collected over the years. Thanks!
Thats because he's putting out production! His bows are great and it would be unrealistic to do everything by hand and fulfill the amount of orders he gets.
Oh my goodness. We cut the trees down, kill them, and you resurrect their bodies into absolutely beautiful creations. That my friend, is a circle of life. Well done!

Why put in oven? What happens if you don’t put in oven?
Wood stays too soft and stays prone to bending
No the oven is to basically to bake the glue so it doesn't come apart.
The oven cures the epoxy. This brand needs the heat to cure it properly.
