- Norland College produces elite child carers - 'supernannies' who work for royal families and can earn more than doctors. So, what does it take to become one of the world's most expensive nannies?
Located in the historic English city of Bath, Norland College oozes tradition but is preparing its students for the 21st Century. They may be dressed in Victorian uniforms but these nannies-to-be learn self-defence and take lessons in advanced driving and cybersecurity.

It's not always about the money, it's also about the respect that comes with the job.
But if you can have both, bonus!
It's very important to hire a qualified nanny. Some wealthy families, surprisingly, shop for a "low price" but are compromising quality.
That's actually very important profession. However, great care and education shouldn't only be offered to children of rich parents.
I agree.
Bringing up children;the grown-ups of tomorrow should be a seriously looked at venture!
Certainly, children of both poor and rich children need the same care&nurturing if society is to change for the better!
Tell that to those pushing Affirmative Action and forced diversity inclusion.
High quality professionals are expensive
100% true, however these girls do need to get paid for the work they do - and high quality professionals will be expensive.
Ike isn't a nanny. He's a manny.
Sad.
@@itsok2bwhiteendanti-whiteh548 How's that sad lad
@@itsok2bwhiteendanti-whiteh548our current world needs caring male role models too. Parents, guardians and supplemental caretakers of all kinds!
Love to hear nanny’s earning s few bob ❤️❤️ Childcare is underrated
Interesting! Intriguing! Insightful!
Actually there should not be a word low status for any profession.. it should be for deeds.. like for people who judge professions as low status
Great ad

This is probably one of the most important jobs on the planet. I can see why they get paid good money. I wish the job didn’t have such a poor stigma.

Spy x Family
why don't they have black students? or students of colour?
Why should they, unless they qualify? Nobody should hire or be forced to include anyone based on anything other than merit. Forced “diversity” inclusion is racism and prejudice against those who do qualify, and worked hard to meet the standards.
@@itsok2bwhiteendanti-whiteh548 it's not forced diversity, but rather. a true reflection of the country & it's people. You're missing the point! the U.K. is not a "white" country as you and so many others would like to believe

You need to drop the “everything needs to seem fair and equal” participation trophy mentality. It’s not realistic, and discriminates against those who worked hard to qualify, regardless of their skin color. Merit is what matters. A functional society, or responsible company, doesn’t let unqualified or less qualified pilots fly planes because they need darker skin. The best pilots get the job, period. If they’re all white or asian, then so be it. If you want your plane crashed, or an unqualified surgeon performing your heart surgery so you feel “virtuous,” then make sure you’re the only one on that plane, and the only patient of that doctor.
England is like 80-85% white , 5-10% asian,
