I've noticed with these recent shonen protags is that their powered up forms have their nails painted or sharp in a way. Okarun in his turbo form, yuji when sukuna assumes control, Kafka when he transforms into a Kaiju and probably a few others, i find it cool in a way.

The first two are more possessions than power-ups, especially in Yuji’s case. They DO look cool though
