i think one of the cards you wana muligen for is duval to look at the top 3 and its one of the cards you like to bounce back a lot

Just bought this starter and went to my first event. Thank you for the deck list! I wasn't sure what to remove on my own for the extra mihawks, sanjis, zoros etc. Went 0-3 but had a great time.

That is correct it has to be rested from the Mihawk effect. You can use your leaders ability to restand the Zoro

Great vid, but when you play the Mihawk you have to rest the zoro.

I made this and upgraded it with 3 arlongs from op 6, to in theory stop their leader from ever attacking again

Hello, I don't understand how Sanji gets 8 thousand power on my turn. I'm new so it's all really overwhelming but as I understood,
- Sanji has a don = +1k power. If I attack with 5 or less cards in my hand, he gains additional 2k, making his attack power 6 thousand.
- Restanding him with Zoro/Sanji gives him 8k. So does that mean when I restand a character, the don that was already under the card reactivates? So at first he's at 3000 power. A don gives Sanji an additional 1k power = 4. Effect, when reqs are met, gives additional 2k for 6k until start of next turn. Then after the first attack, he can be restanded for 8 thousand since the don reapplies? And he's at 7k because the power boost from don doesn't count when it's not my turn anymore, is that correct?
Edit: Ooh I think I get it. It's because I'm attacking and still have five or less cards in my hand, so the effect can be used again.. Well it helped typing my question out and reflecting around it but I think I now understand. Feel free to correct me if I am thinking wrong however!
You got there. He gets an additional 2k because you can use his when attacking effect again. not bad for a 2 cost character
Pair this with the uta starter deck 4 cost zoro 🔥🔥🔥
And 7 cost blocker Luffy has well for value, you can even swing with him and restand with leader ability to keep defense up.

So my deck only came with 2 Mihawks and 2 Ivancos, is that normal? I am brand new as this is my first deck i have purchased.

We usually do this for each starter deck as well. The deck profile in this video is 2 starter decks put together

Yep, this is 2 starter decks combined. I think I mention that in the intro to the video but we usually do this kind of budget build for all starter decks.

Cost 1 has the same effect on play as ivankow and boost the leader for a thousand
Just a comment: You can play Zoro from your hand via mihawk's effect but he is rested.

I think the ryuma is pretty good, you could drop it twice in a turn which is nuts haha
Probably not. As the Zoro reaches higher with its resting power, you attack 1 with zoro and it rests a 6 or less.
Ryuma, while it does KO instead of resting, does require the character to already be rested and can only reach 4 cost but When Played/On Ko not when attacking.
Zoro can rest a character with first attack and then with leader ability perform a 2nd attack to remove the character it just rested.
LONG SHORT, this deck seems to revolve around multiple attacks with your guys, you get less out of Ryuma because of cost difference/situational & doesn't have a 'when attacking' wording.
