Dual SID is actually a set of two C64 chips! For those who don't know what the SID sound chip is, it's a sound chip that was used in mostly Commodore 64 computers in the 1980s, but later on, the chip was accompannied by an FM chip called the FM-YAM, SID+OPL/OPL2, I don't know if the FM Ecpander works with the OPL1 or the OPL3.

You're exactly right. The Sound Expander used the OPL, an OPL2 but just pure sine instead of 3 additional waveforms.
