i'm planning on getting this playseat and attaching a couple of vesa bracket mounts to the side bars and sticking my x55 throttle and stick to them with velcro. i hope there is room next to my legs for the bracket mounts and that the throttle and stick will be within reach since the metal tubes where i could attach them seem very forward on the seat.
That would be the noise that all DFGT Wheels make when the Force Feedback gets a little too busy. :) I never hear my DFGT, I always race with a Gaming Headset on.
I was thinking of getting one of these, but instantly reconsidered when I saw that price tag.. $250 for what is essentially a glorified lawn chair is MASSIVELY overpriced!. I'm seeing $99 here, $150 at most..
***** I have, that's why I took issue. You can get the much heavier duty Evolution, featuring genuine racing style seat, and adjustable mount points for pedals and wheel at as little as $399 shipping included.. The lawnchair challenge at $299 with shipping looks like a bad deal by comparison..

Now for the truth about this seat. The main problem is wheel position...i.e. height... only tilt adjustable is an issue so you have to raise or lower the seat position which isn't great. Also (as I found out) the velcro straps aren't strong enough to hold my weight...My seat collapsed twice, I'm not that big or heavy. It's not overlay sturdy and does wobble a bit because the locking mechanism isn't tight and leaves the arm holding the wheel slightly loose. These seats are way overpriced.. a felt deck chair with a bit of extra tubing and some velcro. A bit of a rip off really for what you get. If you're not a kid around 17 or under then I'd look elsewhere for a racing seat.

I see these playseat reviews all over youtube, but nobody ever talks about the width of the seat. If you are a fat guy who weighs 270 lbs. I doubt you will fit in the chair very well, if at all, and if you can squeeze into it, will it hold up to that much weight. I doubt it. For once I would love to see someone do a review of this playseat with a 270 lb. fat guy, and see how he fits in it, because they say it is rated for 280 lbs. but I dont believe it after seeing how it fits smaller guys.
TH-cam system can we weird if i click just click on a video youtube also say's that ive watched that video even though it was only for a sec. and second i also watch a lot of videos but i just dont feel the need to like or to subscribe to a channel.
I have one & its really great being able to fold it up to store it without it taking up a lot of room

I bought mine second hand for £80. Well worth it for that cost but £180 is a bit steep.
