Maybe it's unfeminine, but I've known some very charming girls that swore plenty. In my opinion, whether you swear or not is just a surface-level aesthetic thing. The real charm of a person's personality lies deeper than that.
Im not a huge fan of when people swear a lot , but I think some of you people in the comments section need to hear. That womens swearing is the same as men swearing.
not gonna lie though, as much as he sounds smart to most people in the comments. its actually really stupid if you think about it, he is describing drunken sailor swearing every two words, i doubt that's really attractive if you think about it, swearing should be reserved for if you are actually intensely angry at some one. not something that you should use randomly as an expression as it will dampen the meaning
He's mostly correct here. Swearing once in awhile when you are provoked is one thing, but women that swear a lot when they speak are so low class and unattractive.
@@janeryan2709 My post is addressing what Nixon said, which was about women. Obviously what you are saying is correct. People that overly swear look ignorant. Nice virtue signaling though.
@@tonyc7301 "talk softly and carry a big stick" those who swear like a sailor are extremely insecure about their masculinity, those who are confident have no need to swear all the time.
Other than taking swearing and drunkenness as a sign of masculinity...he's right. If anything those things weaken masculinity in men. But yes those things in a woman removes their femininity.
Why does everyone on TH-cam talk like a monk or a bible thumper these days? Bunch of judgmental, no-fun-having drones, a whole generation of hall monitors and teacher's pets. The future is doomed.
I didn’t think there’d be so many comments agreeing with him here, those and this clip gave me a good laugh! These people can’t handle a girl who swears because a girl who swears is not a sniveling, self-conscious type: she’s confident! If you’re turned off by a woman being confident that shows your a huge beta! LOL!
Girls and weak men most often swear to emphasis the severity of their point and it because it reveals their child-like sense of what they're rebelling against, it has the opposite effect.

Currently, yes. But you need to remember that this was said back in a time when some women were considered ladies.

Why every thing you say is true, he didn't call swearing attractive but instead masculine
Or maybe some people just have different modes of expression and attraction is subjective.
Ha! This is entertaining.
there is some super weird projection going on here by Nixon. There was always more than met the eye with that guy.
He's right though.

Funny studies show that people who swear often are more honest and trustworthy.
I’m guessing it’s because those ppl can’t filter the content of their speech as well as those who can.

Um yikes. You have so much toxic masculinity
Real men dont swear infront of women.
Real women dont swear infront of men.
Thats how it goes
Nothing about swearing and being drunk makes a man more masculine.
Nothing about swearing and being drunk makes a woman less feminine.
Fighting one double standard with another
How insecure must you be about your gender to feel threatened by a woman cursing??
You sound likes severely wokes. It s not insecure, but the curse was simply unattractive, and low class for woman to do so, it was matter of fact.
How presumptuous about a man's character must you be to call a fella insecure for simply discussing a subject.
feminists today call it toxic masculinity.
Threatened? No it's just tacky for a woman to swear. If you get it you get it
Things have changed, Nixon.
So true.
