God, I love Matt Striker. He comes off as such a genuine human being with a true passion for wrestling that you don't often see. He's not arrogant, and all he wants is an opportunity to learn, a first class human being. I've only seen a couple matches of his, but I LOVE him on commentary.
i've had the honor of training alongside and being on the same card as matt striker. he's a real down to earth guy and is always willing to pass on his knowledge.
Incredible shoot interview, I can not recommend this enough. Matt Striker is witty, funny and speaks very fluently about past stories and memories, such an entertaining guy and it's a shame he never got a world title push while in in ECW. This is definitely worth the buy.

So glad I get to listen to this guy ever Wednesday on Lucha Underground. The passion that he and Vampiro bring to the commentary is so much more real then the constant crap barrage that comes out of WWE or TNA.
I disagree, personally. Renee is a wrestling fan, at least. After years and years of "fitness models" in high profile positions in the company, at least they got a pretty face that likes and knows the product. I'm not saying I don't prefer Matt, but I have nothing against Renee.
He and JR did alright at Wrestle Kingdom 9. JR was a bit slow and that is to be expected because he doesn't follow the product religiously and he hasn't called a match in years. He did eventually find his groove for Tanahashi/Okada though.

After he began wrestling He introduced himself to me and was always genuine. We rolled in the same circle with Ki, Zaxier, Goodman, etc. Not Everyone is Cena or Rock and Great talents have been released or don't even make it to WWE.
