Really impressed after having one for the day. The finish is great almost but not quite like my BMW 6GT. The drive is great and so comfortable so left wanting to drive more but this is the problem... I got car with 99% battery drove just 77 miles mixed driving and left with 18% on battery so less than 1% per mile! I love it but just not sure if range could work as winter will be much worse. Otherwise a beautiful, dynamic and comfortable car.
Hello guys, I share with you my experience after 3 months driving a MX30, which is absolutely a very gorgeous car, inside-out with outstanding finishing quality and very comfortable and pleasant to drive. BUT WHAT A SHAME!!! Technically as an EV, MX30 is useless! When the temperature drops to freezing point or even near, driving range on the highway drops to 110KM (150KM off highway) and worst is the charging time, it takes over 3 hours (in cold weather) to recharge the battery on a CCS 50KW/h charging station and not 45 minutes as announced by Mazda! You need to stop 3 hours at a fast charging station to be able to drive less than one hour!
@@Dolikhani here's the thing. mazda regulated 45 minutes of 0-100% under normal conditions (20 g Celsius), and the operation of li-ion batteries at a temperature of 0 and below leads to a loss of 40-50% of capacity and PREMATURE EXHAUSTION of the RESOURCE. Therefore, it takes longer to charge, the electronics of the charging station and the car itself reduces the charge current so as not to spoil the batteries. Try to store the car in winter (autumn) in a warm garage (it is necessary to provide 20 gr. Celsius), the distance should increase

Why Tesla doesn't behave this way? As I mentioned in my comment MX30 is useless as an EV. Mazda might be able to save this project by adding 50% more battery to it, replace the charger with a 100kw charger that can pre-heat the battery in cold weather so it can charge it in a short time.
No keyless entry? That's a step back Mazda, come on!!!
