How do you get nails out of hardwood if the heads are broken off and are flush with the lumber, I’ve no way of getting nails out unless I’m wasting a good portion of lumber, please help
For those, I punch a very thin flat head screw driver on the side of the nail then pry it out barely, then use a pipe wrench, using the curve as leverage, to pull it out. It doesn't really add more damage than the nail hole itself. I use a very thin klein screwdriver, it has to be thin to pry well and not cause too much damage. Good luck!
