Very nice video with good captions to explain the adventure. I recognize the area from your visit in the fall. You must feel a sense of accomplishment to push your limits with such a long hike. Many places saw less snow this season, and some got record amounts. Weather is always unpredictable. Enjoyed this video like all the others. Best wishes for free foooted fun.
thank you! as for accomplishments, i actually wish some day to make the large circle around the ski track, full length from start to finish - that's my aim for quite a while already, but it still seem just too much for me... but half of it i'm already doing quite easily. :) and these forest hikes can also be very fun in proper weather conditions. though just today i got under the full-scale rain, which was missing in all available forecasts. really unpredictable.
@@fetterlesswanderer I watched the ski track from last February but expect that was only a portion of the full length. I am sure you will reach your goals if you already are doing half easily. The sun being higher in the sky will warm the snow crust as well. Also wanted to add your English language skills are developing very well.
i've walked (and filmed) quite a few different parts of the track, but never managed to fully complete it without putting my shoes back on in process. and it seems this is not that... may i call it linear? it just feels like you're going just fine until suddenly you discover that you've frozen out almost completely. :) depending on weather, that usually happens after around 20-30 minutes for me when i feel i literally have to stop. the track is often a very windy place too... maybe i just need to go faster to finish the whole track in half an hour? though i was never into running. the sun no doubt should help, but at times we don't have many sunny days, and now it looks like we'll have all the snow rather washed away with all these rains than melted down with the sunlight.
