Angelina didn't fail. She couldn't win because her andher family didn't want to sign Simons contract. Angelina couldn't win because of that. Imo Angelina didn't need agt.
charles This is from Uncle Mike's interview with Music Norway in Aug2020: America Got Talent had always been interested in bringing Angelina to the show, but with their normal contract, artists are being locked into a label, management, and other things for many years. Astar says that it didn’t matter if you get exposure or not, it was out of question to give away that right.

It’s true that they wouldn’t sign thei standard AGT contract but I think it’s just speculation that’s why she didn’t or couldn’t win.
Being on AGT probably did help her by getting her name out there .
That’s exactly right. They would have taken over the authority of where and when she sings. Her parents were smart not to have her worldwide talents managed by AGT. I just saw her sing on utube at an honorees award for a noble peace prize. She is recognized across the world for her talent. ❤❤❤

Angelina explained that she chose to sing “Bohemian Rhapsody” in the season premiere because “it means a lot” to her. “It’s about the fears that you’re going to lose somebody in your life. But still you have hope. I love that song. It always reminds me about my grandfather that passed away about a year and a half ago.” Her haunting rendition of the Queen classic wowed judge Heidi Klum so much that she pushed her Golden Buzzer.

What I liked is, that this is largely correct on the facts. But I don't think it was a good choice to wait 5 minutes before hearing her sing. The background footage did often not match what was being talked about at the moment. And you missed, that her EP "Old Enough", with the first 6 songs of the upcomming album, was already released a couple month ago.

1. Gloomy Sunday, her 2013 audition to Norway's Got Talent, when she was 7, which was aired in 2014 and then immediatly went viral.
2. Fly Me to the Moon, live on The View, was her US debut later in 2014, and also went viral. It gathered more than 37 Million views on TH-cam, and many more on Facebook.
3. I Put a Spell On You, the song where Screamin' Jay Hawkins got his nickname from, has 11 Million Views so far. Her cover is closer to his original than most well known covers of it. She was 9 years old here.
4. Feeling Good, in a version sung on TV in 2016 while still being 10 years old, though she already started to perform the song in public about a year earlier.

*Why Angelina always performs barefoot*
At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes.
Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true.
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. SHe is a great talent with a beautiful voice. I really liked her singing in her early years. I'm afraid that since she has matured, she may be trying to be Amy WInehouse and using the husky voice with slurred diction. I'm hoping she can realize her potential by displaying a lot of variety that I know she is capable of. She has also become a beautiful girl. I hope that works for her and not against her. She never rested her voice due to Covid. If Angelina did not sing so often. Every day. Several time a day. She would not be as good as she is. Her singing was like exercise for her vocal cords.

At the age of seven years, Angelina Jordan was the grand prize winner of the reality television talent competition series “Norway’s Got Talent,” and captured the hearts of international viewers as her performance videos went viral online in 2014. Most of what is said here is correct except for the age, she entered Norway’s Got Talent at seven and won at age eight. This mistake has been propagated due to Angelina herself misunderstanding the question on AGT champions saying seven thinking she was asked when she entered. Also, her audition with AGTC in 2019 was in Las Vegas, not Hollywood.

@@robertbiron I don't think Angelina misunderstood the question on AGT. I believe the producers suggested she answer "7" to compensate for the difference between the recording and broadcasting dates of AGT.
@@103mrg It's a theory.... but that makes no sense at all because she was still 13 years old when it went to air on January 6, 2020 and the question was not how old was she when she entered, it was by Heidi Klum "so tell us, how old were you when you WON", which has nothing to do with the difference between the recording and broadcasting dates. The producers would not ask her to lie.
@@robertbiron And before Heidi said that, she said: "So you won NGT in 2014." Angelina knew how old she was in 2014. But to be fair, perhaps Angelina heard Heidi say: "So tell us, how old were you when you "WERE ON".....AGT was recorded in 2019 when Angelina was 13. By answering she won NGT at 7, Heidi then calculated that Angelina was 13. Which meant that Heidi was using the year 2020 (minus 2014 = 6 + 7) as the reference point. Had Angelina answered correctly ( she won at age 8), that would have put her at 14 (which she wasn't when the show aired on Jan. 6 and which would have also clashed with Howie's exclamation to Alicia (after Angelina sang Yellow Brick Road): "13!!! 13 years old!!!"...I think the producers wanted to present her as a 13 year-old and and asked her to answer that she won NGT at 7 in order to establish her actual age at the time when she performed on AGT.
She turned from a toothless baby into such a beauty.
