Nick Diaz Is a MMA fighter that ive actually heard of. Partially because of his brother Nate. Im well aware of their reputation as the UFC's original BMF. Im really Excited to learn about Nick Diaz. A fan favorite, hopefully one of mine as well!

He didn't even get the 5 years, he got his suspension reduced. He is the one that stopped wanting to fight for a while, why do people forget that
Nick to me was the even better fighter between the two Diaz brothers. Nick is a former Strikeforce, WEC, and IFC champion. Almost became a UFC champ. The person who stopped him from being UFC champ was GSP (one of the GOATs). Nick and Nate both great fighters.
Diaz vs Daley is one of the craziest 1-round fights ever. Up there with Brown vs Arlovski

I don't think Nick has officially retired, but he's basically retired. The Lawler rematch was proof he didn't want to come back.

Diaz brothers are next level, they have cardio like no other
You need to watch his fight with Paul Daley, cyborg, and Diego Sanchez. Nick is truly one of the best ever and the first to call out everyone for doing roids. Also famous quotes like "they're selling you wolf tickets" and "you want to point the finger and need a bad guy, I'll be the bad guy then"
You should check out some Forrest Griffin! (Forrest Griffin & Chuck Liddell were my 2 favorite fighters when I was first getting more into the UFC.
(Before that I’d only ever watch UFC through some old DVD’s occasionally with my dad when I was really young and his favorite fighter was Matt Hughes, which made him my favorite fighter at the time too lol)
Nick is the real BMF of mma, dude was a beast. I really don't count that last fight with Lawler, he had 2 ruptured disc's in his neck and could train or feel his hands. Other than that dudes never been finished.
He hasn't fought since Lawler, so no come back yet.
