  • Hi ,Welcome to the celestial pearl danio (also known as galaxy rasbora) growth video! In this video, I document the daily growth and changes of these fascinating fish from day 17 to day 54.
Throughout the observation period, it became evident that these fish exhibit a significantly slower growth rate compared to tetras. Unfortunately, their growth simply couldn't keep up with the rapid pace of tetras.
As my patience wore thin, I made the regrettable decision to relocate them to an outdoor plastic container. Tragically, this move resulted in an outbreak of velvet disease among the fish. However, it's important to note that the footage in this video was captured prior to the onset of their illness.

Nice thanks for sharing, I have a question about the baby brine shrimp, after you hatch the brine shrimp do you rinse them in fresh water and then you feed it to your fish, or do you feed them directly from the hatchery straight to your fish?

      Hi Sergio,
Thank you for your question. Firstly, I use a BBS net to sift the baby brine shrimps, which significantly reduces the amount of water they were hatched in. Then, I rinse the baby brine shrimp with tank water. This helps ensure their cleanliness before feeding them to the fish.
