His line ups were on point but the amount of hair he was taking off from the front was way to much. As a barber, if the client does want something like that, you have to give your honest opinion and let them know that's not the look for them and do them justice. I would of given him a C-.
True. His line ups were deffo crispy and on point, but seeing so many of his clients with the same push backs, I got a feeling he was deciding to do that himself. He took far too much off, only a few millimetres would have done the trick. But, if the clients were asking for that, then any barber with some knowledge should be able to voice their opinion. I remember when I first asked for a skin fade back in 2001, and when I said I don’t want it too high, he told me straight up that any skin fade too high looks crap!
This is honestly one of the best type of barbers to have. Extra crispy lines and perfect blends. You just have to tell him EXACTLY what you want because he seems like he doesn’t have a vision for the final cut. And if he does, it’s a wack vision.
