When I hear this music of the Scotish Highlands I remember fondly , my husband Brian Albert Gossip who passed away on December 11, 2021, he first joined up at 17, with the Scotish Regiment in Edinborough, as a musician, but later in 1954, I met him in British Guiana and started a relationship........he later came to Canada and still a musician, joined up in the HMS Hunter's Band, then moved on to the RCR Band, the the Air Force band, other bands, then to the Quadra Navy teaching the cadets music...he wrote music as well etc.....he spent his whole life dedicated to music and the military......he ended up as a leutenant when he retired......
