nah cos the bat and knife "keyboards" with gyroscope functonality are way more interesting than what would essentially be a glorified transparent keeb build. i don't think anyone would really argue with me lmao
6:00 Small tip : If you want it to be more effective on the gluing part, just make a lot of scratches where you wanna put the glue. It will stick for longer and better
as an artist, i would probably do just as well painting those lines. it's way harder than it sounds and the tools WERE in fact the problem. i was thinking a smaller brush, but the paint marker idea was genius.
This is SO fricking cool. I love the game and I love this channel and holy crap I loved this, that's so absurdly creative AND TUONTO APPEARS??? I LOVE THIS SM
Imagine Glarses being sponsored to advertise for a game and he revamps the gameplay experience with a whole new dedicated controller, insane amount of dedication to the craft (and with the comedy to boot!)
A tip for if you ever do painting like this in the future - try putting your elbows on the table and stabilizing with them, while you paint. Essentially pinching the object between your hands while you rely only on your fingers to move the brush/tip. It works really well for miniature painting for D&D/Warhammer, so I imagine the results would only be better on something bigger (like a baseball bat keyboard)
this is seriously the most clever and brilliant way of making a video with a sponsor i've ever seen, it also helps the video itself is extremely fun too!!
That last coop type fight setup actually serves very well in supporting my argument that multiplayer can be fun even if its turn based. DQ9 did it that you could have your own character join your friends team, and all you really did was make your own choices when it was your turn. Something people would say is useless and does not merit any benefit. But here it just shows that it doesn't need to. Simply giving responsibility of a party member to friends leads to much more fun and chaos.
In a more advanced way, you could have done this work for the holographic keyboard, right? By rather than putting it in an object you could find a way to strap it to your hand and create gyro controls for each input. In theory, you could create an imaginary keyboard by placing small gyro/location sensors on different parts of the hand and making different hand movements line up with inputs on a keyboard. Sort of like a sign language keyboard. This would be very difficult logistically to make it in the first place, let alone make it good, but it would be pretty cool if someone was able to pull it off.
I did the exact same thing with 3d-printed dice. Drove myself crazy trying to get my black paint in the lil detailed numbers and then wipe off the excess without undoing my work. Switched to a fine-tipped Sharpie and was done in five minutes.
I would love to see an entire squad with weapons from a game actually fighting like this. If only there was a good game, maybe a mobile RPG, that had console level graphics and giant boss fights, pvp battles an champions to collect and customize! Pillage Silhouette champions™ looks like they have a good collab on their hands.
This dude went above and beyond for his sponsorship! Not only did he make the characters' weapons IRL, but he also beat the boss with 3 characters (ideal team is 4) who were probably under-leveled on top of that! Now that's what I call tenacity!

the reveal of him making 2 of the thing he made originally is insane, like we saw the trials and tribulations that he went through to make a bat, but without us knowing he actually had to do that twice
The ending was so wholesome, couldn't help smile :) and tbh, the game looks more fun if it played like this, and if it had a VR option, it'd be cool too.
Please make "analog encrypted keyboard" - kind of like WW2-era german engima machine, where it uses plugboard to change all the keys around. So you can send email to your mate and only he can decode it. DIY encrypted email solution that is almost impossible to hack?
Camera thing! From what I know, video/photography cameras have a stop coded into them so that they aren't legally considered security cameras, which are taxed very differently than cameras that have "recording limits" coded into them. That's why cameras randomly stop after a while of filming, even if they have tons of memory and aren't overheating. It's cheaper to import them since they can't be classified as security cameras. It's not necessarily a flaw with your camera, just something built into it, I hope that helps you in future!
Hey Glarses. Next time for painting stuff like that, look up the technique reverse wash, that way you can avoid painting the detail paints by hand. Its a technique model kit builders use like for gunpla and stuff.
