@@ifohancroftkeys light up in an order, you gotta press them in order. put an IMU in it and have the countdown start when a catch is detected, and glarses might actually have a cool product lol.
Just integrate some kind of screen into the frisbee and make the keys much more rugged and lightweight. Something alone the line of those dimple switches that you find on a lot of cheap remotes.

You could do an alternate take on this which is more frisbee focused where the field is the keyboard so the team has to spread out and catch the frisbee where the letters are to type out the words. That way everyone on the team is participating.

Here's an idea to help with your switch packing... What if you built some sort of custom funnel/cone out of plastic that lets the switches through at a relatively slow rate, and below that place bags on a (accurate) digital scale. That way you'd know the exact count by weight, instead of actually having to count.
Then a person (or ideally a program) can just operate a little stopper that blocks the funnel until a new bag is quickly put on.
You could even make a video out of setting it up. Maybe another TH-camr who loves to make random stuff like that would appreciate the collab

I love this, but I have a proposition; instead of giving them 15 seconds to type out a word for a point and then immediately throwing it back to the other team, give them a 15 second timer (or variable time chosen by the players thereof) and in that span of time, they have to type as many of the words of varying difficulty as they can to score 1 point per word. After their time is up, there is a slight grace period (also variable by the players thereof) to throw the frisbee to the other team, wherein the process repeats for the opposite team after the cooldown is complete. I believe this is a more competitive play style, and it will give the players a really definitive way to know which team exactly won the game. As another recommendation, the switches could be replaced with ones that are slightly harder to press down or require a fuller press to register a keystroke, that way it prevents most accidental inputs as a result of receiving the frisbee.
honestly, this doesn't seem like that bad of a concept, like if I had to choose between playing with a bop-it or that thing, I'd pick that thing
